Hey guys I've been using multiple forums especially this one to learn how to grow but I never thought about creating an account for advice until now. I wanted to know what I can do about the burned part of my plant.
I'm currently on my first grow; it's blue dream feminine. Yesterday I checked my plants to find that one of them outgrew my grow lights, when I checked I found them flat under the grow light and when I moved them away they were taller and had unfortunately suffered light burn. I flipped to flower on July 1st but a few days before that I had pruned them and raised my grow lights thinking that would be enough. I knew they would explode in growth but I was still surprised and it doesn't even look like a pruned them anymore. I do regret not topping them at least once during veg. Am I supposed to cut off the burned parts? If so where do I cut them from?
The first picture is right after I checked on them and you can see they outgrew the height of the lights. The second picture is the height I have them at now and I was hoping for advice on how else to raise the lights. I want to raise them to the top but I'm using what they came with so all I did was loop the black string into the other clip to shorten the length it allows the light to hang, but I dont think it's high enough. Third and fourth are pictures of the light burn.
I am growing the 3 plants in 3 gallon fabric pots inside a 2x2 tent, it was supposed to just be one plant but all 3 seeds popped. I attempted 2 seeds one at a time before this and none popped which is why I tried 3 at once but yeah, couldn't bring myself to get rid of the extra 2. In veg the tallest plant (light burned) and shortest plant (behind the 2 plants in the second picture next to the fan) suffered badly with calcium deficiency and although my calmag arrived late I was able to save them before flipping. The plant to the right never suffered and I hope it stays that way. All 3 are the same seeds though, blue dream feminine from ilgm. I'm not sure if any of this info is necessary but I've seen people post and then told there wasn't enough information lol
