Went to wal-mart yesterday but they didn't have any R.O. water. I picked up a couple of one gallon jugs of distilled water though. I pulled the plant out of the pot yesterday and added some fresh soil to the bottom, and then added some around the sides and on top. Clipped off a few bad leaves and then watered real good. A few hours later it looked like it was trying to perk back up.

a couple pics from early evening yesterday......

Don't use terracotta pots! They will draw moisture out of your soil causing you to need to water much more often. Switch to plastic pots before you flower em.

Are your plants getting any dark periods? I've noticed over the past few days that mine will droop the last couple hours before the dark cycle starts but the always perk up after the dark cycle. Also, what size pots are you using?

I didn't know that about terracotta pots, I thought they helped keep moisture in. I still have them on 18/6 cycle. Mine would get droopy like that every night too, but here lately its always droopy. It hasn't grown much either and alot of leaves are turning yellow. The pot that its in is around 11" tall and the top is 12" in diameter.

Those are pretty much the same deminsions as my pots but yours seem really tapered toward the bottom while mine go straight down. The roots are gonna get squeezed closer and closer together as they grow down the sides of the pot. Try switching to 5 gallon plastic pots with vertical sides. If you're gonna wait a couple weeks before flowering you may want to try running your fingers down the sides of the rootball and along the bottom edge to break up some of the root tangle. I have never tried this with marijuana plants but i know it works wonders for other types of rootbound potted plants. They are gonna need some time to recover afterwards though. The Walmart brand water (Great Value i think) is reverse osmosis water. It says distilled water the biggest but in the fine print it says it is treated with R/O.

Thanks atmt888! Going to try to get a new pot tomorrow. My other plant is in one of those black plastic pots and it seems to be doing better.

I'm not really following what you mean about root tangle. You mean all the roots that are at the bottom of the pot?

I picked up a couple jugs of the Great Value water. This is what was on the label......
Great Value
Sodium Free Distilled Water
Processed By: Steam Distillation, Ozonization, Ultraviolet Light

Thats the right water all right. The root tangle is all the cramped roots at the bottom of the pot. Only rake em if they are thick and growing in circles at the bottom and only if they are gonna have a week or two to recover before flowering. In my experience a little root showing at the bottom isn't THAT big of a deal. If, however, you pull out the plant and the bottom 6 inches are completely circled with roots with almost no dirt showing though it will probably do the plant some good to rake down the sides and across the bottom before repotting.

get those into 5 gallon buckets use a small small amount of nutes or get something with nutrients in it allready like miracle grow dirt (my avatar was grown in miracle grow dirt i never fed them anything but water and they turned out great) make sure they get into bigger buckets, those are gonna get rootbound sooon if there not allready. bigger buckets water when the top two inches of your soil is dry dusty dry, foliar feed em and i bet they will be all set within two weeks theyll be great

Finally got it transplanted today. Went to a bunch of stores looking for pots but couldn't find any so I ended up going by the paint store and getting a 5 gallon bucket. Hopefully it'll survive.

Hello, looking for some tips. I'm trying to grow for the first time. The plant hasn't really grown any for the past week or so and some of the leaves are turning yellow and getting spots on them.

White Widow started from seed (it broke through soil Oct 1st)
Growing in closet with door slightly open and small fan in closet
Soil = Fox Farms Ocean Forest
Lights = 6 CFL Bulbs; 23Watts, 6500K
Water = Tap water that has been sitting out for about 3 days before its used
Nutrients = None yet
Temp = around 85 degrees
Humidity - around 40%

Any help or tips to improve would be much appreciated.

Thanks
I think you need more light man. My plants at i month are about 2 feet and its grown outdoors here in Hawaii during the winter (short season). Try getting more light to the plants and get some Superthrive from a local gardening store.
