If they were in the bag of the new soil they wouldn't show until you added water most of the time unless it's a really badOr do they develop after the soil is put in pots?
Fuckk I think I may have got a bad bag of soil I keep catching a bunch of lil black gnats on my sticky traps ever since I got this bag of soilIf they were in the bag of the new soil they wouldn't show until you added water most of the time unless it's a really bad

Very cool had not heard of that one befor thanks for thatfungus gnats are one of the easiest things to fix in soil. Get some cinnamon, not cinnamon sugar, just cinnamon. turn your fans off and top dress all plants with the cinnamon and scratch it into the soil then do another light top coating.
cinnamon will kill the larvae and prevent adults from laying more eggs, while giving your roots some love
I'm outdoors will this still work good out there?fungus gnats are one of the easiest things to fix in soil. Get some cinnamon, not cinnamon sugar, just cinnamon. turn your fans off and top dress all plants with the cinnamon and scratch it into the soil then do another light top coating.

Im not an outdoors grower but I can say yes it will work in any case that they are in your soil and laying eggs there.. my concern outdoors would be they may just find another place not too far from your plants, cinnamon may blow away or be washed away too easily and quickly.. also may not be feasible depending how many plants and soil.. you may want to check out mosquito dunks or something like thatI'm outdoors will this still work good out there?
I'm an indoor grower so I don't know if the Apple cider vinegar would work outside O what is that stuff called it is like slivers of glass damit I can not remember the name of it sorry about that but I'm sure that someone will stop by and drop some information about it best of luck to youI'm outdoors will this still work good out there?

Technically it's BTi. It's the active ingredient in the "Mosquito Bits" you can find at the hardware store, and yes they do work for fungus gnats as well. That's that BT stuff right
This is concentrated Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis that is great for a soil soak.Go to your petstore and pick up BMC Microbe Lift from Ecological Labs.
