Why not lie his head off on the stand, he has nothing to lose, he's fucked a dozen different ways with more being added and will be gone for good anyway. Once they get the fucker in a cage he won't get out except in a bag, but right now he is useful for fucking over the republicans, so most don't mind the delay in justice. It's fucking the GOP and will make for an interesting election season with all the action in court, he is their only nominee, really, the rest are far back in the pack. He still has 80% of the GOP base and the politicians are scared shitless lest Trump turn on them before 24, and he will.

You did, possible tax crimes both state and federal. Jack has a large, evidence backed menu to choose from, once he gets him convicted and locked up on a simple easy to prove case, he can take his time for the rest where other political types were involved. Mark Meadows is the guy to watch, he knows everybody who wanted a pardon for J6 and could be the key to putting congress people in prison at some point in the future. J6 could not have happened without inside help and they were part of a conspiracy, or several. This will go on for years with plenty of eager rats and one rat will lead to another for time off sentences, these are republicans and cutthroats after all. Once Jack puts Trump and the principles away for J6 with a straight string of convictions, he will look into congress and the magats there know it, which is why Gym Jordan and others are freaking out. This will be even more so if the democrats win in 24 and have the DOJs back, then I figure a lot of people will be fucked legally and financially, even if the DOJ doesn't indict them. When they busted Scooter Libby for outing a CIA agent it cost him $14 million in legal fees before Bush commuted his sentence and Trump pardoned him. Deadeye Dick Cheney had to hold a fund raiser for him to cover the bills.
