Installation of ventilation in a new tent

A rectangular tent 120x60x178cm Secret Jardin Rev 4. The filter I have is quite long (45cm), I will mount the Intake Fan directly behind it, and then the acoustic silencer, which I will lead through the hole in the ceiling on the right side of the tent.
I will make an air -catching hole at the bottom of the right tent wall.
(There are no ready holes in the tent, but there are tools for cutting and mounting rings, thanks to which you can make holes where you want). The air output must be in the ceiling, because the back of the tent will be put into the wall.

Actually, this is the only configuration that suits my ventilation set, otherwise it can't be done. Will it be okay? The output hole on the ceiling is on the same side as the air inlet.

I assume that where it says vent on your drawing, that's the fan? If so, I see no reason why that won't work. Are you venting outside or into an attic? Into the attic can cause mold issues, just a heads up.

Yes, it's a fan, I wrote badly.
I only lead the air out of the tent, I have an open window, so there is a lot of breath. I have no possibility to lead the ventilation duct outside the house.
It also seems to me that such a location of ventilation is fine, but I preferred to ask because I haven't cut holes yet.

There are no square windows, but honestly I don't need them at all. You just need to cut inlet and outlet holes. The only problem is the plastic installation collar, which is mounted in the cut hole - it only fits the Secret Jardin ventilation sets, there is simply no sleeve with a string for clamping, only a plastic hole. Which means that you have to come up with the method of sealing yourself. The tent itself is fine, there is even a net with a rack for ScroG. But this matter with a lack of sealing sleeves is very disappointing. Very ugly behavior towards the client.

I think so too, but it is disgusting, and stores do not inform about it. They should offer a separate collar with a built -in sleeve. These are very popular tents in the EU and are not cheap.

Stupid question, but can you not just get some ductwork to use with their collar to make it work with another fan/filter? Is all their stuff some proprietary size?

There are two elements - a plastic rim with a larger diameter and a collar mounted to it. This collar should have 125mm, but it is outside, inside it is 115mm. And this means that a 125mm thick ventilation cord will not go through the hole.

I solved the matter in a simple way. I did not install the collar, only a plastic rim (I don't remember what dimension, maybe 170mm),
My flexible 125mm ventilation cable has mineral wool around, wrapped in thick foil. The thickness of the cable with mineral wool is similar to the diameter of the rim, it fits perfectly. So I will seal it with ordinary universal silicone. I was a bit lucky that these stripes together, otherwise I would have to cut a hole in the collar.

The company cheats people - the instructions say that ventilation for this tent is 125mm. If you have such a ventilation set, you will not be able to mount it with the available accessories.

Very simple fix measure the width of the hole need for vent from tent then mark it into with a box cutter knife (brand new blade) make it nice and easy to cut through after you have your carbon filter, then silencer then fan in with you ducting send as much through you hole as you need (ducting) and them when your satisfied just seal around the hole with air-tightness tape so today project you need a 1x roll of air tight tape, 1 permanent marker, 1 utility knife with a sharp blade and the just have to mark out where toy want your hole very very simple 15 minutes work if even good luck

A tool for cutting holes to the size of the rim is supplied with the tent. This plastic rim fits perfectly to the thickness of my silencer. So I don't have to do anything else - as I wrote above, I was a bit lucky that it fits together. A little silicone and you're done.
