I have a question. ive been flowering 9 weeks now and the trichromes are turning amber so its time to harvest, but the white hairs havent disappeared like usual. is this ok???????

You've got a ways to go still. I feel like new growers can get hung up on the idea of trichomes being the "most correct" way to determine ripeness. But if the other signs are not there (hairs being all brown and curled in, bracts swollen), then it's *not* ripe, no matter what the trichomes look like.
I have not looked at trichomes since my first grow. I would say it's more of an academic thing, like it's cool to know how the trichomes change as the plant matures, but you don't need to check them to know when to harvest.
Great looking buds btw! Just keep doing what you're doing and check back in a few weeks if you're still not sure.

Looks to me like you have another month to go. In any event I would not take her this early. She lovely. I also would be careful about fan removal because it slows them down. Good luck on finishing and good job.

You might also be seeing the trichomes on the sugar leaves, which are not an indication of the ripeness of the flowers. Common mistake. Agree with @weedstoner420 the other markers for ripeness are not in place yet. 3-5 weeks to go.
Also, the white hairs are an indication that the flowers are still stacking. If you chop now, you'll kneecap your overall yield, and desired potency. STAY THE COURSE!

The fan leaves are starting to yellow out though, what would i do to fix that???
I'd ask you to tell everyone what light, substrate, nutrients, environment you've used to get so far so nicely. But it's right about actual 4-6 weeks in flower when the roller coaster ride starts as they start thinking about senescence.
So post it and the grow guys will be around to help. You need all the voices too because there is never just one way to do anything well and we have a lot of really good growers so you will get some great differing opinions that you get to work through to find what will fit you the best.

Hairs aren't the only indication. If your going for max yield and don't care about THC content then give them longer. I've grown plants until they stopped drinking entirely and the only effect was the bud yielded more and got me mega stoned where I wanted to go to sleep every time I smoked it. Before I actually knew what caused that, CBN which is what the amber in the trichome is under a microscope.
THC (white/cloudy) converts to CBN (orange/amber) even beyond harvest, as THC naturally oxidizes/ages into CBN over time and is accelerated by light, air, temperature etc.
As others said, make sure your checking the buds trichomes, and check mid-canopy not the tops. The plants ripen faster in less shaded areas.

Lots of good advice here. I like looking at trichs up close, I’m part cause it looks so cool, but don’t even start looking until at least 90% of the pistils have turned. As others point out, ignore the stuff on the sugar leaves. Amber there is deceiving. Looking at your pics, things are starting to look frosty, but I don’t actually see any amber on the sugar leaves either. Not a close up, I know. Nice looking nugs so far.

Looks like too much of something to me, possibly fertilizer, water, or both...
Can you share some more info about what medium you're growing in and what fertilizers you're using?

Yeah in that case I'd say it looks like some sort of lockout, either from overfeeding or letting the coco dry out.
I'm not a coco grower myself, but I get the feeling there's a bit of a learning curve as far as fertilizing/watering, and dialing that in with your environment. You could post that in the "plant problems" section and maybe get a bit more traction/advice...

Pistils tend to vanish into the swollen buds when they are ripe. Long hairs on weed can be an indication of premature harvest. That said, those buds have some swelling to do, you probably have another 10-20 days. Feed them, by the pictures it looks like they are being killed with plain water while still developing.

What ppm are you feeding her? And is she getting calmag, I'd feed her at keast 2 x a day. At 800 ppm 6.2 ph 20 percent runoff every feeding. She how she responds.
