first rdwc Day 5. Slimey pipes Need help

Hi guys, so my long awaited rdwc setup is finally up an running, mixed solution on Friday, got clones on sunday, plants already looking healthier and roots are now submerged in the water..... But I'm concerned about the slimey pipes I already have, is there something I should be adding other than the general 3 part hydro nutes?? Or is this normal.. Cause its only 5 days in and the pipes feel slimey, they are 20mm inside diameter so they won't easily clog. , bucket walls are not slime tho,

Are you using a preventative, and if so, which one?

No preventative. I'm only using the nutrients required.. What preventatives can I use along with the nutes?

This works too. I prefer Ca Hypochlorite to Sodium Hypochlorite because sodium competes with other positive ions. But in small amounts (like in urine) it works well and you only need small amounts.

Just a pump alone brought my temps between 72-78 f

My sump is over 1000l., wich I think helps keep the water chilled,. And with the aircon on and fans going.. There is no real heat to warm the water much.. Room temp is 18celcuis

So you aren’t using LED lighting , I assume?

No I have 2 x 1000w hid lights, want to get more soon tho
