My OCD has OCD, and says your OCD would appreciate one. My OCD's OCD is still a bit huffy but if my OCD slows down a little it's acceptable to it's OCD's standards

If you decarbed the whole plate, maybe it would scrape off into powder. Easier to handle?

B. I mixed up the Everclear and Volcano Girl. I forgot just how much like Fruity Pebbles she smelled. They are back in the freezer for an hour. I do have a question though. @laddyd said they "do 2 washes like that" Do you mean to let soak for an hour, strain it through coffee filter twice, and then add the flower back and repeat the whole process? That doesn't make much sense to me. I am 99.457% sure that's not what was meant, but not 100% Somebody please chime in.

Set aside the first strained liquid and then add fresh chilled everclear to the plant matter and do the whole thing again again. Combine the 2 batches of strained liquid and evaporate. The 2nd wash probably won't be as potent but since you're combining them it all works out in the end with very little thc and cannabinoids left behind. The whole thing is contingent on the 190 proof everclear and 0 degrees as your working temp. At 0 degrees the alcohol will dissolve the good stuff but not the chlorophyll and other undesirables.

Ahhhh. That makes sense. I only bought one little bottle of everclear. So, the question now is, if I run to town and pick up another bottle, can I drain the mix that is soaking now and put the bud and the resulting liquid back in the freezer overnight and do it again tomorrow? That shouldn't hurt anything I wouldn't imagine, right? Hell, I probably don't have to put the first rinse back in the freezer, eh? Just the bud and the 2nd bottle of everclear?

Exactly right. Just need to refreeze the everclear and the plant matter. The strained stuff you could even start evaporating while you wait for the next wash to freeze. I personally like to strain the liquid with a coffee filter twice, that will eliminate most of the visible solids.
