That's what I use, EZ PZ.
Did you ever seal up them stairs?2 years ago it was 1 or 2 baby snakes, then last year I believe 3....I know one of then was in my kitchen...and he didn't get to stay for dinner.
For those of you not up on the saga, 2 years ago I installed a gas fireplace into the old masonry one, and some holes were drilled through the concrete and brick, and since then there have been baby snakes getting in, in August. Oh and I did find adults living in the basement area of the chimney. It's like a small crawlspace under the fireplace.
I did a bunch of sealing last Fall. That's why I need to go clean my basement mess up...Too many hiding places currently!! And a tent now- More hiding places. The babies are usually searching for water I think...They don't really hide! I sure hope mama isn't in here somewhere!! Luckily they are harmless, but...
I am not a fan.
Little danger noodles just want to be your friend! Maybe they'll hunt rodents for you O:
Those look similar to our King snakes. Ours will hunt rattlesnakes and eat them. They are constrictors and are immune to rattlesnake poison from what I have read.
I would agree with your assessment, it looks like a king snake. Those look similar to our King snakes. Ours will hunt rattlesnakes and eat them. They are constrictors and are immune to rattlesnake poison from what I have read.
I would die walking to the mailbox. Which is bolted about a foot from my front door.

They should be called Empire snakes then ...... Fortunately, they are milk snakes. I'm in NY ...
King snakes are great to have around because of them taking care of rattlers. I guess they are pretty much everywhere in the US. I had one that was brown and white instead of black, it's a natural color morph. The last time my dad saw it it was about 6' long.Fortunately, they are milk snakes. I'm in NY
wanna trade?Only 71 at the moment headed to upper 80's. The delta breeze is a glorious thing. Nice when the natural AC kicks in.
We had two of them in our yard at the same time. I couldn't be happier. Our small auxiliary dog was bitten by a rattlesnake in our back yard a few years back. He survived. Since the king snakes have been making an appearance we haven't had any more rattlesnakes, or ground squirrels either I'm afraid.King snakes are great to have around because of them taking care of rattlers.
