What kind of molasses is best for the ladies?

I know this post is more than a decade old but man it’s still the same no answer until you ask why nobody has answered yet..this post starts talking about deer feed

Any brand will do is why long as its pure unsulphured black strap molasses will do fine either a tablespoon per gallon for you north americans and just under a tablespoon i use into 2 litres of water any time i use it works fine but i dont feed it lots just say 3 or 4 times throughout the plants lifecycle as a boost for the micros in the dirt really more than for its npk value directly

Generally not needed. Plus fungus gnats will feed on sugars and decomposing matter.

Prove it. Cannabis roots attract sucrose and begin producing invertase faster than any fictional theoretical microbial colony. Plus molasses contains glucose and fructose readily available to plants. All that feeding microbes sugar would do is have them begging for nitrogen. That's where most seems to be wasted in organic setups. Feeding the stupid microbes. You don't even understand the basic principal of composting,which are the basic principals of organic gardening: the carbon to nitrogen ratio.

I tried brewing scobys with molasses, didn't brew. The microbes did not produce a drop of lactic acid being smothered in molasses (6% lactic acid). Feeding the microbes is a stupid concept if you're feeding them nothing but sugar that makes them pull nitrogen away from your plants.
