Managing loss of power

We’ve been without power for 24hours. I’ve got 4 plants that are in their last week / 2 weeks of flower. Got a generator running that is powering tent fans, exhaust fans, lights and a dehumidifier. I initially had the lights (led) on at half power but had to turn them off because of heat.

Right now with lights off, temps are 83* and RH of 60%. It might be another 12 - 24 hours before power is back on. Anything I should be concerned about / do differently?

Also…side note…carbon filters work! If you don’t think yours does, turn them off and open up your tents for a day…my entire house smells like chronic!

I think you are fine with this going as you have it. That temp and humidity are not the most desirable, but with the fans rolling (as Billy said), I don't think they are going to cause any serious issues in 48 - 72 hours. Good luck and hope it comes back on soon to set your mind at ease.

Just for the future if it looks like power may be out for a long time like more than 24 hours (which is common where I am) instead of fighting the heat and humidity from the lights I just put a couple small cfl or led bulbs in there just enought to keep them awake. It wont make that much of a difference in the end if it happens for a day or two, they have stored energy for cloudy days :bigjoint:.

You have everything that needs to be covered, covered it sounds like. There shouldn't be too much heat with the lights being off, flowering might get triggered if its 24+ hours of darkness though.

I've had my power go out for 6 days and I ran the same stuff, fans, dehus and had a decent finish, my power outage happened early flower though so they stretched insanely high during the extended dark period.

ive noticed they really get that dark green look to them on the leaves and that lime green look on the new growth.

Probably okay because it's in late flower and it would take a few weeks for the plant to make a response. By then, you've already chopped....

IF you want another option, then you might want to consider buying a battery-powered LED construction light....like a Dewalt or a Milwaukee brand and a couple extra batteries. They aren't really bright enough for growing, but they are bright enough to let the plant know its day or night and maintain the growth cycle. I've had the power go out a few times over the years, but it's never been off long enough to be a concern.
