I too have a question regarding hydroponic grows.
If I was to take clones from a mother plant (which from the beginning has been growing in soil) and place them in rockwool would there be any effects negative or otherwise in anyway? By the way I plan to use AL B Fucts "GET A HARVEST EVERY 2 WEEKS" method.

No.
It is bad to have roots exposed to light.
You will end up with a lot of algae
and that will deplete the oxygen.

Hi Earl havnt seen your avatar in a while. About my question I didnt mean if I were to place the mother plant in rockwool from soil but to take cuttings & then place those cuttings in rockwool would that be ok? Im thinking all that time the entire plant has been getting used to the soil & suddenly it get cut & is placed in a hydro setup could that possibly stunt, shock the cutting?

no it wont....this is exactly the method i use...my mother is in soil....only because she is on her way to bein 2 years old...hahaha......i take my cuttings and put them in my aerocloner with 100% success rate......and i also clone in rockwool, coco, hydroton from the same mother with no problems you should be alright

i dont use any nutes for the first 2 weeks.then i give a little.after 3 weeks to a month i go ALL OUT.the OPTIMUM PH BALENCE IS 5.8.ur safe from 5.5 to 6.3 an 6.3 might be pushin it.depends on ow ur plant likes the food

hhuuhh??? ur at 7 but u dont have a tester??? kinda confused.well depends on ur plants man.HOW FAR ALONG ARE YOU? 7 is pusin it if u ask me. A PH TESTER IS DEF SOMETHING U NEED.EVEN IF ITS THOSE CHEAP LITMUS PAPER STRIPS.wjite slime NOT GOOD how often do u change the res? every 10-14 days????
