Doesn't hurt to experiment, but personally I wouldn't waste my time on this myself. Flowering is caused by hormones that build up as the length of darkness increases, and once flowering starts reducing darkness even more won't speed up the process, and could potentially limit your yield and potency.
This is why IMO you don't want to stress a plant, you want it healthy and thriving up until harvest, depriving it of light, water, nutes etc would negatively affect the end result. You see many people posting about flushing and stopping feeding a week or 2 before harvest, and other knowledgeable experienced growers pointing out the bro science involved in this
