NFL 2023 kicked off with the "Hall of Fame" game which was decent but the amount of non-stop interviews became rather distracting to the actual game.

Aaron Rodgers seemed comfortable on the sidelines with his coaching role ......we will see how he does on the field as QB.

Pre-season week 1 starts next Thursday, August 10th.

If Toney didn't spend the whole camp injured, he might have been able to catch the ball.

Big chiefs fan, definently wish we won, but I want this to light a fire under these guys. Kelce isn't going to be around forever, and Mahomes can't win games single handedly. I'm happy the Lions get this confidence boost. I don't like Goff's face, but otherwise I like the team chemistry, and their coach seems like a really cool guy.

Tooney single handedly cost the chiefs the game. The pick 6 on what was a perfect pass was the difference and his other 2 drops in the 4th killed the comeback.

Don't read to much into week 1 everyone's rusty and weird things always happen.
Some unintuitive trends to keep an eye one.

They say Aaron Rodgers is done for the year, after only 4 snaps.....this could go down as the most unproductive trade ever.

The NY Jets will only have to give up a 2nd round draft pick to Green Bay (instead of a 1st round) because he didn't complete 65% of the Jet's plays.

Love him or hate him, it's a shame to see a good QB go down so early in the season....I question if he will return next year.

Who would’ve thought that Jordan love would’ve come out and put on a clinic, the replacement for Rogers at GB? He looks pretty calm and accurate for his first “real” start. Let’s see what week 2 brings…

To frugal to gamble with cash. Tempted to make a draft kings bet during the promotion just to see if I can turn the free bets into something.
My stash is low atm I might be willing to put some flowers on my packers later in the season.
I'm a bit of a numbers nerd and Vagas has a better track record then any analysis(with in the means of which betting works) so I follow what they say.
Some advice when it comes to betting

Fade Colorado, they have some much fan fair the public will over value them and skew the spread and money line creating major value against them (fade Detroit lions)

Don't touch a NFL game with a spread over 7

Take the easy money go ahead and bet the money line for the contender to beat the bottom feeder even if it only pays out %10 it's unlikely to burn you.

i signed up with bet mgm a few years ago when it became legal here in CO. i started with a $100 deposit and haven't had to re-deposit (yet)

the bets that i want to make seem to win while the bets i do make seem to lose. lol.

i know the odds are horrible but i still like doing a 4 or 5 team parlay

Parlays are like lottery tickets. Lots to earn but 10000-1odds if you want any real payout. Best to offset your parlays with a safe money bet. Make a $100bet on the easy 10-1 bet and make 10 $1 parlays they will cancel eachother out most weeks until one day you get a hit
