Nice. Any tips for amendments? Im looking for products, brands, or compost materials for a set up similar to yours (from the looks of things). I'm going to be doing some projects with soil, with the end goal being a living soil ecosystem I can use as needed.
Check out the ROLS (recycled organic living soil) thread. It’s got soil recipes, tea recipes, and grow journal links. I read through the first 50 pages or so and It was enough info to get me through 2 successful rounds+.

Thanks for the kind words. I did top them once and had the lights on at 75% for the entire flowering cycle. I did adjust my height a few times maintaing 1250-1300umol with my par meter. I find anything over 1300umol and I start seeing nanners with these feminized seeds.

I will definetly look into that. I don't use teas but I have been looking into them and might have to start.

bra a 1lb plant with no bud rot or mold? and a 1.6GPW your absolutely murdering the game lol congratz on your harvest man :)
Shit ton of air flow and a really good dehumidifier run by accurate, well placed sensors.

I have grown this strain before and the first time I got one bud that had bud rot. I learned to keep the air dry and moving then. I mess up all the time but try to learn from it the first time.

hey do you mind me asking what irrigation system you are using ? Do you change the timing based on the growth of the plants ?

thank you

Irrigation Direct - Link

The link above is to my current irrigation system. I have it running off of my Trolmaster system and adjust the watering frequency based on soil moisture levels I see when checking with my finger ( not hi-tec but its pretty accurate). But when I am using the most water, I will have it set to kick in 6 times per day for about 90 seconds each time.

The cost of the system has gone up since I bought it but its worth every penny. Super reliable, super simple.

thanks so much.

What temps are you running in the tent ?

My temps are 85⁰f with humidity around 70-75% when flowering. In late flower, usually 2-3 weeks before harvest, I will drop temps to 72⁰f and humidity to 50-55% to preserve terpenes. It almost feels cold in the room when I do this.
ok thank you , It’s odd i had a very strong smell of washing detergent in my grow room when the humidity was above 60% . lowered to 50% and it improved

Peat:
-7.5cu.ft. Sphagnum Peat Moss

Compost:
-1cu.ft. Sheep Manure Compost
-1cu.ft. Mushroom Manure Compost
-1cu.ft Sea Soil Fish Compost
-3cu.ft. Worm Castings

Aeration:
-4cu.ft. Coarse Perlite
-2cu.ft. Rice Hulls
1cu.ft Charged Bio-Char (not traditional airation but...)

Fertilizer Amendments:
10 Cup Kelp Meal
10 Cup Neem Cake

Mineral Amendments:
20 Cups Basalt Rock Dust
10 Cups Oyster Shell Flour
10 Cup Gypsum

also added 4 cups of alfalfa after the first grow.
Also i have a question about your mix ! it seems to be around 150 gallons if i add up all the cu.ft and convert to gallons. If you have 4x20gal pots that’s 80 gallons. Am i missing something ?

thanks !

Had extra. The wife used it up in her greenhouse.

Ok awesome . also are you adding mycorrhizae to the mix , and how much ?
No, I was worried it would die while the soil cooked for a month or longer. I do dust my seeds in prior to germination and then sprinkle it on the root each transplanting. So i do use it, just don't mix it into my soil.

Very nice results there mate,I do living soil aswell and our setups aren’t too dissimilar.

I like to keep my rh quite high through most of flower too, I’ve found it to be beneficial vpd wise, even when I wanna push the vpd higher around mid flower I just up the temps abit rather than drop humidity, it’s the end (like yourself) when I like to concentrate on dropping both rh and temp together. Through observation I’ve determined the girls just seem to pray a lot harder and grow more vigorously when I control humidity as described.

love that irrigation set up too mate! As someone who used to drip feed stonewool I’ve had some elaborate set ups, however I’ve been somewhat nervous about setting one up for my living beds or pots, learning to water properly at the start wasn’t without mistakes and now I’ve got the old 5l watering can dialled in I think I’ll quit while I’m ahead hahaha. But when set up properly (like you obviously have) i can imagine it being quite the game changer, can I ask what the water source is? Do you fill a res? Or is it straight from the water main or an RO system?

keep up the good work mate. Massive props to you!:fire::rolleyes::fire::fire::fire::fire:

Yeah some of the watering systems out there can be very difficult to dial in or keep functional due to the high maintenance they require. I tried quite a few before finding this one and I'll never use any other type of system this one is so predictable and reliable. That being said, I only pump plain old water through it. It might not be as reliable if I were sending nutes through it.

As for water, I do have an RO machine but decided to use plain old tap water instead because I want the minerals it contains. Unfortunately there is chlorine in it but my reservoir is pretty big, about 120L and only needs to be filled once a week. I am hoping most of the chlorine evaporates before the water makes it to the plants but undoubtedly some chlorine makes it to the plants. This is the main reason I have never called my grow organic but its damn close.

I do the same, I doubt that chlorine really does much to hinder the life in the soil anyways mate, especially not when it’s a large volume of soil with a wide footprint, I read somewhere that it’s all gone pretty much as soon as it makes contact as theirs so much to oxidise straight away as soon as contacts made, the exception would be when brewing microbial teas in which case I use a vitamin c product to dechlorinate the water

do you top dress throughout the cycle? And if so what do you use ?
