Should it be okay?Over or underwatering, likely
Sorry what does damping off mean?Looks like it’s damping off. Try root riot cubes next time. Better than the jiffy pellets!
Damping off is a disease of seedlings caused by several different fungi and fungus-like organisms. This disease causes emerging seedlings to collapse, often submerged in a mass of white fungal growth. It is particularly a problem when sowing seed indoors or under glass.Sorry what does damping off mean?
Too wet/humid. It might pull through if left to dry a little.Sorry what does damping off mean?
Same, I had a horrible time with damping off using jiffy pellets. Went away when I just started using a cup of not overly damp coco.Too wet/humid. It might pull through if left to dry a little.
But best just to skip those pellets and just use a cup of seedling mix to start. Good luck!
Too cool, humidity dome and spraying every day doesn’t help either lolSame, I had a horrible time with damping off using jiffy pellets. Went away when I just started using a cup of not overly damp coco.
I also think being too cold and/or temp swings has something to do with it. I strive to keep it a more constant 80ish...or it could be that the cooler temps prevent the medium from drying out.
Looks like it's doing better but it hasn't grown much... Will it just take abit longer than the rest to get going?Overly wet media. Get it on a heat mat asap and it may survive.
I packed around the plant abit. Will that work? Just don't want to smother it and it will take longer to dry the coco out if I completely fill the pot? I also turned the lights up to full (60w)They look a little short on light. I would also fill the pots up to to where you have about 1 inch of stock. The part that you cover with soil will root and make a stronger plant.
