I get to play my first round of disc golf in the dark tonight. You use glow discs, glow tape, and a uv flashlight. Should be a ton of fun. Now to get through a full day of work and wait til 745 tonight.

Pulled a handful of Cinderella Purple out of the Koolatron this morning and tossed in a jar to see how it was doing. It went up to 70% pretty quick, but I did snag a shot of this little lady before throwing her back in.

Morning ... it's was also a good early morning to over-seed the bare patches in the back yard. Just a little too warm for a high rate of germination until it cooled down and started raining. That was last night.

They are calling for lower temps and scattered showers for most the next week in these here parts so those little seeds should stay damp until they sprout.

My heat won't come on til it's in the fiddies. My oldest always loves that. He'd keep it that cold year round if he could.

Supposed to be 101 today then 90's for a couple of days. Then we have a couple of weeks of high 80's.

I had to cut down my humming bird feeders. Bees were swarming and crawling in and out.
I have a friend that's a bee keeper. He says in this part of the country pretty much all of the bees are africanized killer bees.

well we finally got some rain yesterday, and this morning cooler temps woke up to a nice 68F this morning high today 86F, and we are supposed to get another cooler blast this weekend....yes the 100's and the 90's are over for the time being. After 76 day of being over 100 and 119day of being over 90 it feels good.....

ok time for some coffee and some taco's.......

and whoever is having a bee problem, take it from me, don't fuck with them.......
