not to much bro, i put less than half that white spoon per 9 or 10ltrs watering can, should look like a cup of tea before the milk, if its dark like coffee it can burn them

it has no salts to speak of and doesnt really affect ppm so as im on rain water i mix up some A n B coco nutes at 1500ppm they seem to do a good job of ph balancing them selves out as the nutes lowers ph and the powder raises it

Interesting…I’m using Melbourne tap water at 7.5 so wouldn’t want it higher. I’ll look into a balancing agent.

i try to avoid ph up n down as much as possible
i prefer finding a balance of 5.5 =6.0 by just adjusting the amount of nutes, seaweed, bat guano, or pk13/14 to get there
yes the seaweed makes it higher but in a good way nothing to worry much about as its a very small amount in 10ltrs and with all the good stuff for the plants to use up,

keep it up well into flower and stop say 3-4 weeks b4 chop, its like they get used to it and miss it if you stop to early,

good time to start a grow, should do ok,

New fella here, done hours of research, itching to grow now. Looking for advice for what grows best in temperate subtropical Aus. Honestly just the hardiest bushweed. Also anybody recomend Aus seed banks? Imagine they would be best suited.

Honestly, for outdoors in the sub tropics you want equatorial varieties (Sativas) if you want hardy bush weed that will grow without risk of mould etc. You can grow plants with denser flowers but they need to be babied a lot more.

The Aussie seed banks on Instagram are usually just reselling Yank genetics although some of them carry Wally Duck's gear and he has done a lot of work with outdoor varieties.

The outdoor growers around me in the sub tropics fall into 2 groups - bush weed growers that only want 2800 max for their units so grow varieties that have been bred here and are quite mould resistant, and the other group are the guys that want 3800 so grow hybridized genetics and spend a lot more time at their grow.

And others from down under - I'm going to be in Aussie mid February to Mid March on some work grant.... out between the Blue Mountains and Wollemi.... always looking for any tips, or anything, saw Sydney has brothels, did that in Tijuana, wont be doing that... i see all the prices are jacked up, just like in the US, soon we'll all be priced out and stuck in our backyards for all eternity... and weed is still illegal, eh?... anywhere in particular people score hash in Sydny? I don't smoke much so I doubt I'd even do that... flip a few logs maybe, looking for some browns or tiger snakes, thank god no salties out there, but I'm most excited to drive on the wrong side of the road, maybe piss a few people off if I forget where I'm at... and throw the accent imitations around like a parrot on crack...

Sup homie, if you can get to Western Australia i could sort you out, Sydney not so much, mericians can pull girls easy in the local Pubs here, (what you guys call a bar) due to the accent being different, no need to pay for it. weed is illegal, dont drive around high here could get you in strife, they do random tests

i just brush my teeth and tongue, real good before i drive, and no cones in the morning


brush then rinse then a second brush and leave a little toothpaste foam on ur tongue as you drive off, (like wipe your mouth after but dont spit it all out if you can) do your lips as well with the tooth brush, sometimes i have a little bottle of mouthwash, next to my seat, if i see them in advance i take a little and rinse b4 they can test me, (not too much as you gonna have to swallow it, as they gonna be right there watching you roll down the window)

ive got the all clear after a night of hitting the bong doing this,

not a guarantee, just the way i roll in this police state

Those are some serious law enforcement measures. Never been like that in America, which I think is setting the legal stage for more countries. I bet the shit will be legal there in less than ten years...

the police here have this thing they think weed is the same as alcohol, in reguards to impairment and accident statistics, which most stoners think is bullshit as you generally drive slower stoned, but i doubt they will ever stop testing for it legal or not,

just giving you a heads up b4 you get here, should be ok having a puff at night time, or on the weekends and no wake n baking, before you drive

If you haven't heard from me in ages. It's because my pc power stack shyte the bed yet again. I decided to put my efforts elsewhere for several months.

I gave up a job to look after family round about the same time. I'm okay on funds. Flipped my attention to front and back yard maintenance for a couple months. properly trimmed shyte that had gradually crept forward evry year. Despurred every ugly branch and dead growth on and around each tree and bush. punished the weeds with aerator spikes and weed n feed crap. edged out a solid couple inches from the damn curb.
bought all the tools to do that with tax, instead of gettin toys.

Also got a sizeable new green house (copped a surprise shower from the ghetto sprinkler hose I installed), already have my cabinet on the task of baking some of the seedlings to go in it. Brought a bunch of herbs and some crap to drive the cat bonkers. Aaaaand- later on, going to raid my garden vault for the rest of what we think should go in it.

Bout sums it all up... Had a sketchy time for a bit. Fixed it all up. Now I'm back. might post a pic or two later in the week.

I'm thinking about placing an order with Herbies seeds.
Up till now I've grown Northern Lights from 00 Seeds which I like because of short flower period, about 6-7 weeks. And Northern Lights from Pyramid seeds, bit longer flower period, 8 weeks, but little bit denser buds and probably a little bit more stealth as far as odour goes during the grow. So much to choose from at Herbies so wonder what you guys would choose? I want feminised, photoperiod, indoor under LED. Advantage if shorter flower period and stealth re odour during flower (although that is probably covered now with carbon filters).
Up till now I've been functioning with cuttings from cuttings from cuttings.... but just had the third batch of cuttings fail due to stem rot, I think due to the hot weather, driving me nuts, never had this issue in years.

I'd go with a reputable and established seed company if I was ordering from Herbies such as Serious seeds, Mr Nice, KC Brains or Dinafem.

6YO home-made seeds seem to be faring quite admirably...

The ones up the back have been topped a couple of times & I really should've caged them before now. Far-right, however, is an un-touched "Control" subject. All looking nicely Indica-dom.

The rest are later-arrivals to the germination-race & have remained in 20cm pots, that will get doused in anti-pest-stuff & brought inside to flower.
I know...I know....Cardinal sin I culled-out the males & few runts & also trashed the other 48 seeds that came up. I had other fish to fry:

There's about 10 different strains here. Some I like & some I don't. Again, this is after culling-out about double this number.

'Gonna have to drive some star-pickets & chuck that netting over them ASAP.
