Fresh seeds. Unless it was absolute fire it’s more trouble than it’s worth.

Clone them before you flower, that way you're covered and you won't have to deal with reveg. The closer they are to harvest the bigger pita they are to reveg.

Clones right before flip is a good choice.

I've got a root beer kush bag seed in flower now that smells a lot like root beer. i did try to clone it, but through neglect i lost the clone. my only hope is the reveg... how is this done? how much mature bud can i harvest without killing the plant? its at maybe 20 days flower currently.

You have plenty of time to take cuttings still. Take cuts from lower down on the plant, and put them back on 18 or more hours of light. They'll have a few weeks of being a little bit funky, but they'll grow normally afterwards.

Exactly. They throw out single blade leaves for a minute, but then they settle in. Clone before flower is so much easier

Test it

Reveg has to go through a deformed stage so i dunno how long that last until you see true leafs, they start like basil leafs then the true ones come after.
