Srtange plant huge mellon like calyx's

Just wondering if this is normal this plants calyx's are huge and mellon like (def female), or is it just a strain thing?

This plant is an odd one tho, just stopped growing about 8 weeks in flower and about 5 ft 7 high or somthing

Any ideas?

swelling of the caylx is normal and signaling harvest time is near. I have seen ones that have swelled to the size of a pea

Yea but only prob is its nowere near the end as its almost full sativa, buds are undeveloped due to the constant growing, and i have another planted at the same ime covered in bud, but the calyx's are normal

Prob just a strain thing, just a freak of a weed lol

I'd say its half way done, as this is sure to take alot longer, and its the caylx's on the internodes only, she hasn't developed enough to see them on the bud sites

8 weeks in flower and only halfway done? u r a patient man Baz. have a afghan kush whose tops are done in 6 weeks and another kush done in 7-8. I am a cerebral man myself but the one done in 6 knocks you back on your ass. yeah, those internodes swell kind of early.
