Which do I got here guys? The stupid f#&@*$ aphids or mites the ladybug larvae??? Pics of this beautiful garden attached please help me keep these bastards away!
It would breakdown trichomes as we use oil to extract, so sorry.Into week five..too late for this I'm guessing?
I see lady bugs an aphids i dont see LB larvae. Tough call on spraying any thing thats safe at 5 weeks that kills aphids if plants Arnt huge take out of the room an hose them down that will knock back aphids for a few weeks.Damn it lady bugs ... you have ONE job!
they are in a raised bed so that is not happening sadlyI see lady bugs an aphids i dont see LB larvae. Tough call on spraying any thing thats safe at 5 weeks that kills aphids if plants Arnt huge take out of the room an hose them down that will knock back aphids for a few weeks.
Ladybugs are overrated and only helpful for a tiny population of insects, not to mention they can poop on your buds.Anyone ever tried putting preying Mantis in your garden? I think they eat aphids and mites also... damn lady bugs arent up to snuff, maybe bring in some big guns! hahaha
Dr. Zymes. Supposed to be safe til harvest, i used it on thrips but was not in flower.they are in a raised bed so that is not happening sadlyhopefully these lady bugs start doing something.
I am not ready to bring in the NUKES ... jesus hahahaNo, but after watching the wasps (paper, yellow jackets, etc) carry away most of the aphids on my veggie plants this summer, I'm convinced they are the ultimate bug meat eating predator. When you say big guns, I imagine bringing in hornet nest into the grow, lol..
Yeah i have tried that before... they grow big and strong from it lolDr. Zymes. Supposed to be safe til harvest, i used it on thrips but was not in flower.
alright damn it! I didnt need much convincing.. buying two tomorrow!Ladybugs are overrated and only helpful for a tiny population of insects, not to mention they can poop on your buds.
Preying Mantis will eat aphids and mites you are 100% correct and will do a much better job.
Yeah thats why I was hoping this little things were them since i have had them in the room for a couple weeks now. was thinking maybe these are the baby ladybugs come to feast on the aphids? but looking online they look much different sadlyi’m not 100% on this but i think fully grown ladybugs dont eat aphids its their adolescent form which chomps on them while making childish jokes (hence the name adolescent form)
yeah I bought what was supposedly a package of lacewing eggs before and it didnt do anything. literally nothing came out of it ever.Check into green lacewings too. It might be a big benefit to net them in so they do not fly away on u
alright damn it! I didnt need much convincing.. buying two tomorrow!
