Tips to kick start flowering process

Hey Guys, just wondering what any of yall do when the plant was in flowering mode&then seemingly just stopped&keeps growing. My plant was in flowering mode, the bottom half shows signs of being like 3 weeks into the flowering process,
the middle to upprer half shows signs of being in the early stages of flowering where its showing pistols on all the nodes
,the very top isnt growing with pistols as it would if it was in normal flowering mode.
Its on a 12 hour schedule&is covered by a blanket boxing it in against a wall during the other 12 hours. The other plants I have are all in flowering mode,on the same schedule. The only thing i can think of is somehow light is going through but only affected that one.
Should i cut the time for that one plant& maybe only give it light 11 hours? What are yall suggestions? i made sure there was absolutely no light coming through, yall think that would be enough(if that was the problem)

Tip 1) Get a timer
Tip 2) lowering amount of light results in smaller buds; does not speed up or kickstart flowering response
Tip 3) all plants started from seeds will be slightly different even among same strain
Tip 4) be patient
The plant already started in flowering , buds were starting but then it stopped and started growing again. Now the top keeps growing. Annoying af. How do I make the plant flower if itstopped and went back to growing if the plants are already on a 12 hour schedule
.

Lol that did not answer my question, I have a timer. I know it means smaller buds. I'm aware all plants are different and I am patient.

My first indoor run I asked the grow shop guy why it was taking so long for my plants to start flowering after going 12/12. He suggested NOTG Herculen Harvest (bone meal. I took.the advise and almost overnight I was seeing flowers forming. Looking back at the grow I learned my plants were malnourished going into flower. Good luck with the grow.

Flowering response is baked into DNA. Plants keep growing well into flower cycle so they can easily be 30%~40% larger than before the flip. Reducing hours of light will only make a smaller plant with smaller buds. All you can really do is wait; let the plant to do its thing. They can’t all be zingers

So pictures 4-5 I assume is the plant in question?

That new growth is pretty weird, but it kinda looks like there might be stigma forming in there. You might be in for some really weird flower formation.

Or

Based on the other pictures which appear to be other plants. Are you absolutely sure your timer is working correctly for your lights?
