Defoliation

First grow here, I got a zamaldelica x nepal jam by ace seeds at day 11 of flowering. Her structure is kinda bushy and I’m wondering if I should defoliate more to promote top growth of if I should just let her stretch..
Thanks a lot for the help!D8E7F603-82DD-44C7-8E65-68836CBF3A74.jpegE9FC39F0-9FCE-466F-A2AA-C5E2DBADE4C2.jpeg1110CC1C-E200-4BA9-8644-DDAB135A7246.jpeg

.

Think of your leaves as "sinks" or "sources", and defoliate according to that.

Sinks are leaves that do not get much light and therefore take more sugar from the rest of the plant than it produces.

Sources are leaves that produce more sugar than it uses.

Pluck the sinks down deep in the plant, bend out the sources so they get lots of light,

Interesting way to think of it.

You can still weave them branches within scrog ( if still fairly pliable. Or a supercrop . Then allow the mid areas to be exposed to light.

Under canopy areas of minor growth can be pruned away too. Just don’t go crazy.

and watch nitrogen use - looks a bit dark.

Thank you all!! Beginning week three of flowering, +2inches in 2days and the colas quickly started to pack up after I defoliated a bit more!

Just had alook at your earlier posts and the plants turned out banging..very nice dense colourful buds. Looks fire...how much it all weigh mate?
Thanks a lot man!! About 2.5ounces per plant, one was a bit bigger but not by much. Elongated structure and buds a bit on the airy side (I guess that’s because of the landrace-heavy lineage) made them not yield that much for their size.
