Transplanting / Plant Pot Size Question

Hi, could someone tell me the ideal pot size to grow a plant for one month from seed (which will then be transplanted into a larger pot). I want the roots to be solid and not fall apart when taken out of the pot.

Thanks

If you are starting the seed in the container it will veg for a month in I think a 3gal would be min I would use. A 1 gallon will be near rootbound after a month of growing in a good grow room. Smaller containers will make for smaller plants.

Are you growing in coco or soil? I start in quart, go to half gallon at 2 or 3 weeks from sprout and then finish in 1 gallon pots in coco.

Easy, just reading and woundering what the final result of your plants in a 1 gal pot? About to transplant mine but unsure of the size. Sound.

Transplanted today. 6 weeks in 1gal pot, root bounded, organic media (EWC, compost, perlite). Cervantes says 1gal/month and claims that a little of bounding is good for a proper root development. This plant is now in a 5 gal pot and I'm planning no more transplants for this one.

Here are 6 plants in gallon pots in a 4x4 tent. Pulled a little over a pound out of that tent and I left a bit on the table due to inexperience.
