Dwc- need advice on Issues with nutrients

What’s up guys , this is my first dwc grow and I’m about 8 weeks in . She looks fairly decent but I’ve noticed some issues, figured I would see what you guys say

Seems like some kind of deficiency with the leaf coloring . I messed up and started the scrog way too late but I’m trying to make the best of it.
The ph is currently b/t 6.75 and 7.80 and from what I was told it’s supposed to be around 6, not sure why it keeps going up. I have airstone in the rooted bucket and a pump in the reservoir.

I’m usuing the Athena pro kit feeding program , with uc roots and bud candy .

Any help is greatly appreciated IMG_3684.jpegIMG_3683.jpegIMG_3679.jpegIMG_3680.jpegIMG_3682.jpeg

Get that pH to 5.8. you are "locking" out nutrients by running a high pH.

Change the res out completely and add your nutrients, then pH the solution to pH 5.8. In an optimal setting the pH should gently rise as ppms fall. Once pH gets to 6.1 top off with plain water and reset the pH to 5.8.

It is very important to completely change the res once a week.

My first thoughts were Ph problems. If you are getting over 7, you could have some slime or rot going on in the root zone. Even if you're not running a sterile rez, you could soak the roots in some H2O2 water for a while, until she doesn't bubble as much and then put her back in your cleaned up tub, hoses and pumps with new nutes.

How close is your light? Could be light bleaching..

I’m changing water weekly , premix all nutrients and check ph before feeding but every morning I check the levels it keeps jumping up and I’m not sure why

Appreciate it bud, I will definitely check that out. I was given uc roots to use , not sure if that’s the correct application for what I have

She is beautiful. I think you could do with a larger rez and that might slow down your Ph going up. If you don't get a larger rez, you could change out the rez every third day instead of weekly.

That's expected.

Your grow looks really good for having been in a pH 7 environment. In hydro, a pH of 5.8 is considered optimal. The graphic that @Drop That Sound is the only place I've ever seen that shows a pH chart the recommends a pH of 6.0 in flower and, arguably, that's correct. The ideal pattern is that pH starts at 5.8 and, as nutrients are taken up, pH will tend to rise. Let it rise to 6.1± and then drop it again to 5.8. That's called letting your pH "swing" and that's considered a good practice because the different chemicals in your ferts are taken up at different pH readings.

You may experience a pH drop. That can be an indicator that you have problems in the res, such as root rot, but it is also a common behavior for many growers (me being one) at certain times in the grow cycle.

Conventional wisdom says you have to change the res every week but that's definitely not a hard and fast rule. As with so many things, it depends. If you're OK with a new res every week, that's great-go for it. OTOH, if you get more into hydro (this is your first DWC grow but it sounds like you've grown in other media), you might want to learn more about reservoir management. Not only will it save you some time and money but having an understanding of what goes on in the bucket can help avoid problems instead of having to react to problems.
