Question regarding seeds.

Have some Snowhigh Electric Grape Punch seeds from 2013 that are in a bag inside a mason jar. The jar was out on a desk for about a year, maybe a year and a half. Exposed to room light in the room the entire time. No sun light. Today I put them away in a dark room. Prior to that exposure to light they were in the dark. Will they be okay?

Try them out. I have some pepper seeds from Hawaii that a friend brought to me 5 years back. I lost track of them in the garage (Canadian winters) for a couple of years until I cleaned it up. Then I misplaced them again in a bunch of guitar gear in my furnace room for another year or so. To my surprise, they popped and ended up being great producers and really rigorous plants.

Thank you! That is awesome! I was worried about the light killing them!

They should crack. I've had older beans not well stored crack. I think time depletes viability a little but cannabis is a survivor.

Crack dem beans bro.
Oh definitely ive popped stuff 20+ thats never seen a fridge or freezer just sat in a drawer all those years so its definitely a survivor for sure as u said germ rate and also seedling survival rate after popping goes down a bit to after a certain point but some make it so its better than nothing i find popping old seeds fairly easy its just old ones alot of em will pop then just give up due to having no energy reserves left i guess after using em to survive all that time
