I think he’s got a core elite by iGo bikes, it s a rear hub geared motor, not a mid drive. I know it LOOKS like a mid drive, but it isn’t. Planetary geared hub motors are loud, but if you went direct drive, they’re basically silent. On my home made ebike, I made zero noise when under motor power, only the sound of the cassette rotating.

You can mod yours to go faster. It’s cost a lot, and it involves adding a front hub direct drive and an additional battery. Get you up about 50+kph depending on the motor you add.
It’ll add a LOT of weight to the bike. Like 40lbs, but if you’re not bringing it up stairs, it’ll still roll nicely. And double your range.
