Agreed there trying to ban peat here or cut it heavily its retarded done right peats sustainable and my country has lots of it hell they burn it for fuel on some of the islands up north personally ive never grew in any reduced peat formula compost thats seems as good as peat based stuff imoDirt is dandy but peat is perfect..lol. Good luck with your journey. We all get it done our own way but we get it done.
Are they trying to ban sphagnum, too? Or just the deeper part of the plant?Agreed there trying to ban peat here or cut it heavily its retarded done right peats sustainable and my country has lots of it hell they burn it for fuel on some of the islands up north personally ive never grew in any reduced peat formula compost thats seems as good as peat based stuff imo

I have used fox farm and IMO it still needs to “cook “ for month or more if possible. I accidentally figured this out when using it straight from the shelf compared to the stuff I stored and let cook.Only thing I keep hearing and seeing is fox farms ocean forest soil it a tad hot for seedlings but otherwise I’ve not heard bad things about it.
