I haven't taken it out of the ground. Let me know how you want it prepared. I've never preserved trunks for canes before.

I usually look for the straightest, thickest ones for strength. You normally don't super crop do you?

@medicaloutlaw. Did any of that Kristi Kush make it to harvest and dry? Have you sampled?

Yes its all jarred up and being smoked up Its a very decent smoke. Nice bud appeal, and smells fantastic. One plant was 8ft the other over 9 they were identical in looks but the smell was slightly different. The larger of the two (the photo I sent you) had a more floral note with a very slight gas back note, There was a branch or two up high that had a few seeds in it. No telling where the wind carried the pollen from. Very pleased! Thank you!

I saved one myself. I shoved it into an 2" unused 10 ft piece of PVC pipe laying around the yard. That should keep it straight as it dries

Well, It's been a month and a half almost. The cane is dry and cured. Got a rough shape on it today. I got in all my Pacific Blue and Royal Gold inlay in. So maybe tomorrow I can final sand before filling all those cracks and gaps with the inlay. The rootball turned out pretty gnarly, which will look really cool with a clear resin...a work in progress. But, I need to finish it within the next 3 weeks.

I noticed that too man!... I may just inlay that first in Royal Gold, and see if surrounding it with Pacific Blue will make that pop.

A little update on the Cane... I got all my epoxy inlay done. I put some brass shavings in there, and found some Vietnam Veteran stuff coming in the mail. I found an emblem of the ship he was on as a FAA Flight Director on Ebay.....

A little more progress. Added the aluminum wrap for strength, and more inlay, bling, a torch burn, stain, and a glow in the dark foot. I just need to
fill in some more inlay around the American Flag, and clear coat so things pop!... almost done, just in time for Christmas! I hope he loves it!

Hey okies just wanted to share some pics of my current grow. I grow in coco and use gh nutes. I also run a Growers Choice roi-e720 for flower and an Growers Choice roi-e420 for veg. I vegged for 9 weeks and they are currently at 6 1/2 weeks since flip.

All 4 plants are Atomic Grape that a buddy of mine engineered over a few years. These are the same seeds I sent you. She smells fruity and sweet to the nose. You would think u are smelling air fresheners.

Thank you brother. I wish I could take credit but my buddy bred these seeds that I grew. The colas have stacked really nice. The smell oin the room is just amazing. I really recommend that you give them a try. I do not think you will be disappointed.

The only thing I can say that I feel the plants are lacking is size of the colas. But they still have 4 weeks left, give or take.. so the jury is out at the moment on where the final size will be.
