Now I am pissed!

A couple a months ago my autoflower dissapointed me and turned out a hermie. I suppose this was because we have a very hot weather where I live. I decied that next run would be in a more controlled environment. From my last grow from one autoflower, I got 50gram of dry buds. And 20 fully mature seeds that I picked from my buds. I decided to germinate one of those seeds to see if I could get a fully sensimillia plant out from it. It turned out a hermie aswell. Now I am thinking it might lay in its genes. Which irritates me, cause those are high quality seeds (should have been). I grew it in a half gallon pot. As I don’t really cared of growing a massive big plant. This was only a experiment. Thats why its more one shorter side of things. She is now 7 weeeks (keep in mind she was stunted early on in the seedling stage). She already got amber/brownish pistils. And some nanners that I spotted. So I am fairly certain she got pollinated. Dammit… has anyone planted seeds from a hermie and gotten fully female out of it?

I've planted seeds from feminized plants that grew 4 or 5 beans in entirety. They turned out great.I wouldn't risk growing anything from a plant that got a ton of them all riddled throughout. You just have a higher chance of them doing the same thing, if it wasn't environmental. You may still get lucky with some of those seeds, but you have to fight through the bad ones to find out. Sometimes even an expensive seed has issues

They do make sprays that are supposed to help with stress induced "herming". Optic Foliar's "Switch" is the only one I know personally. Now'if it's genetic I don't know that Switch will help.

That plant has some major feed/ph problems.
A half gallon pot isn't enough room for a plant unless you are in coco and have an automated feed 3-4x per day min.

That's the whole purpose of switch. It stops the plant from making the male hormone. I forget exactly what's that hormone is called. The op has way bigger problems that are causing his plant stress. Genetics could also be another issue. That's why I only run autos from mephisto now a days. I'm sure there's some other good breeders now but mephisto has been the frontrunner in the auto game for many moons. Stick with what is proven I say.
Also I would never suggest someone with minimal growing exp to grow autos. They are unforgiving.
I run an auto in my mom tent on a irrigation system in Coco/perlite. I regularly get 4-6oz per plant without doing much of anything to it other than bending it down once or twice.

You do realise that when you s1 something be it by accident or chemically whatever genes the parent has the recessive traits will become dominant in the progeny thats how genetics works so the seeds it produced will have a dominant hermie trait in em chances are man

Over the auto?
Just a basic 150w QB whatever I feel like using really.... Sometimes I'll throw a cree cob on it.... I have a lot of lights so I try to use em. Lol
There's more lights in the rest of the tent but that's what's over the auto
Sometimes if they're really big, I'll put 2 100w QBs to spread the light more even. Growing autos is just kinda something to do for me, I rely more on my other rooms for producing my meds.
I'll smoke the auto if it's good, if not I'll make bho, or make hash and press it.
My latest was a avt from mephisto. It filled a QP grove bag
