Dont buy from greybeard seeds

I have recommended them in the past because I never had any issues until my last order they sent me the wrong seeds after a conversation with Robin at greybeard I see why they have a bad name I can post the full conversation if anyone is interested but he is the most unprofessional seed vendor I have talked to. Called me retarded because I wanted the seeds I ordered. I will never recommend them again and I hope I can find another U.S based vendor.

I support domestic on most things, the genetics game in the US is a complete clusterfuck. Unconfirmed lineages, crossbreeds that have 7 different names, and pirated genetics that have had the stability bred out of them it seems. They seem more concerned about their reputation overseas and strive to make every interaction a good one, at least the two companies I've dealt with have.

What companies have you had good luck with and how long did shipping take?

There are wonderful and trustworthy breeders and seedbanks in the US and some shitty scammers in Europe. Neither condition is unique to one continent or the other. You just have to know who you're dealing with.

I've stuck up for Greybeard before too because of my personal experiences with him, but I don't anymore because I've seen how he treats people and witnessed his shitty attitude on one too many occasions. Everything I ever got from him was legit; and the one time that he fucked up my order, he more than made up for it, BUT he became increasingly harder to contact, slower to ship, and his behavior got pretty erratic. Plus, I had him as a friend on Facebook for awhile (on one of his alt accounts) and his political leanings were so fucking abhorrent that I eventually just blocked him and stopped dealing with him over his racist posts on there. He never carried anything special anyway, other than Mephisto gear that you can get a lot of other places. All his other stuff is mostly just Seedsman stuff. I don't know if he still is but up until a year and a half or so ago when I stopped dealing with him, he was a drop shipper for Seedsman. Greybeard orders and Seedsman orders came from the exact same Oklahoma address. I have no evidence other than circumstantial, but a lot of times when Seedsman orders weren't showing up for people stateside or when their bulk shipments to the distributor got lost in the mail would conveniently coincide with the same times that Greybeard would get a big drop of the exact same stuff Seedsman carries. After a few times of seeing the same pattern, that started to seem more than a little fishy.

The bloke sounds like a downright fuckwit. Probably the kind of personality type that should stay away from weed.

I got some seeds at the end of the year from greybeard, shipped fast, no problems.

That being said, I did get some Cherry Venom auto seeds from all american seed co. I was going to order some more recently, but they arent on his site anymore. I googled Cherry Venom and really found nothing on it except for all american seed co and greybeard seeds in reference. Well, I bookmarked the page when I ordered them months ago, and when I click on the pic of cherry Venom, it says red poison on the bottom. I google Red Poison and waala! The same pic he had on his site for cherry Venom. So there is some shadyness with that. I would guess they are red poison seeds put in his packaging under a new name?

I did get some photo seeds from all american seed co at the same time, grape ape and cherry pie, so those may be a mystery for another day.

Don't use them!I had for years and originally they were great. I placed an order Dec 20, today (12/27) I emailed them asking about my order status. Their "CEO" Robin Curtiss accused me of lying about my order even after showing my emailed receipt and THEIR acknowledgement of my order and the fact that my card was charged for said order and howy lying was "a shitty thing to do." My order was 100% legit as I did indeed furnish my receipts, I asked for a refund or I would contact my credit company to dispute the charge. The response was, "go ahead and I'll slap your ass into collections" because I lied about my order, you know.... Several years of decent business and what I thought was a good partnership over $50 in seeds! I could go on and on but that's enough ranting. If you're looking for seeds, use anybody but greybeard, not only from their dishonesty but more importantly what a nasty individual when dealing with customer service. For those who don't believe my review, I'll gladly forward all emails correspondence between myself and such a lovely, welcoming company, just ask in my dm. Do yourself a favor and get seeds anywhere but there.

Worst part is, I've used them for like 5 years, I had a simple question on my order status, this scumbag swears at me and calls me a liar AFTER I sent copies of my receipts in email form as proof and them admitting they're received my payment. Of course I'm gonna lie over$58 and 10 seeds. I didn't even need them, they offered a sale and I thought I was helping out what I thought was an acquaintance if not a friend. I'll gladly share what a jerk this person was. It wasn't even like, "something screwed up, we will refund you" they said I lied about my order and it is a "shitty thing to do". I lied but they admit to receiving my $58.If they offered every seed in their stock as an apology, I'd tell them to choke on it. Do yourself a favor, shop ANYPLACE else. North Atlantic seed, Seedsman, Attitude Seedbank US, or directly from breeders. I hope this jerk figures out what's going on in life to act the way they did around the holidays for their sake. I'll never smoke again before I look their scamming way. This after my last order was "lost in shipping" before it sent out 3 days after I asked. Very unfortunate and a detriment to this community certainly.

I swear on my life and the lives of my entire family, what a shit bag. Especially around Christmas. I even asked if they would have refunded my payment (which they haven't) or looked into it if I didn't ask a WWEK LATER! All you need to know right there.

He's been selling the same lot of breeder seeds for 4 years, been BOGO them a lot but you get what you pay for, last Sweet Seeds I got were dated 2020 & most puked out, I'm done with this guy.
