I had the flu or pneumonia for 4-5 yrs running on New Years, what a way to start the year.

Those look great!!! I've never made mine with runny eggs. I also just buy the 1lb rolls of breakfast sausage so there is no pulling from the casings. Are you dipping them in anything?

I love a runny yolk. I did an 8 minute fry and a 5 minute egg, but I think I'll try a 4 minute egg next time. And spicy mustard for dippin.

I'm cuddling with the dogs and watching birds of prey. They just jammed like 10 superhero movies on netflix

I went to the VA health clinic yesterday to get my Covid and flu shots finally. There's been a big uptick in flu, Covid and RSV all throughout the South. I was surprised that I was the only person wearing a mask at the clinic including the staff. Hope you're back on your feet soon.

Saw someone clearly sick grocery shopping yesterday, cheeks,eyes and nose red and runny.
She looked miserable, didn't give a hoot spreading the plauge.

Thanks. So far, it feels pretty mild. But enough, that I don't want to go be around family today for the last Christmas we have to do. Hopefully it doesn't turn into the pukey flu. I just ate some sausage links and would prefer not to taste them a second time around. Haha

I couldn't eat shrimp for 8 years after getting the flu on New Year's.
It was bbq bacon-wrapped shrimp that cured me of that phobia.

To this day, I still won't touch chorizo. Threw that stuff up for about 4 or 5 days straight. It was a real bummer too. First time I ever had it and the dish I made was amazing. Oh well. Lol

The storm has come and gone, only .6" of rain. Cloudy today and 58 for a high.
DTV doesn't carry the local ABC station at the moment so I'll need to stream it from ESPN tonight for my cohabitant if it is on there.

Pretty much ruined the ski season break, he usually makes $2k-4k in 2 wks.
I'll be paying his rent by the end of Jan (again) if this keeps up...

We still haven't had a cold storm that will build our snowpack, it is the biggest reservoir we have. Last years snowfall was epic and helped refill all our reservoirs in the summer.

I'll shuck them and serve them, but they have to be breaded and deepfried with cocktail sauce.

My future wife got the shrimp cocktail I got the oysters. Funny thing is I love shrimp and was just broadening my horizons trying something new.
