You always think it’ll never happen to you….when THEY tell their first Dad joke?

I was copying several thousand files from Data Centre # 1 to Data Centre # 2 from Wednesday until yesterday. ( I am setting up new features on a DR cluster member in Data Centre # 2. ) I just needed a break from the keyboard or I feared I was going to physically copy myself into Data Centre #2.
Sometimes it felt like I had two tongues ... around late Thursday afternoon.
My daughter is only 13, but within the last year or two her pun game has gotten on point. She'll roll into my studio while I'm working and blam, she'll lay down a cover fire of puns, dad jokes, and outright groaners that just ... hurt. Out of 4-6 jokes she'll drop at once, only one will jam up and miss the mark completely. Then she ducks, runs down the stairs, and out the door so she doesn't have to suffer retaliation, until later.Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall that day when THEY tell their first Dad joke?
That could be a beautiful area for say a press, a freeze dryer, a Koolatron et cetera.....The achilles heel of my noble manse. Originally lacking all plumbing, a basement shitter, probably ca. 1900, was located here with a wall of boards to hold the gravity flush tank and a sink. When that was replaced with 'modern' sanitation they dug a hole in the floor for access to the main drain then pretty much left it that way. I just removed the rotting boards and was surprised to see wire nails. Most of my house is built with cut nails. So now I need to clean everything up and start digging lol. This space could be useful if I pour a new concrete floor and bag the walls, so that's what I'm planning. The stone used to be coated but this house was super wet without gutters when we bought it and it all decayed onto the floor.View attachment 5356501View attachment 5356502
You pay in weed?I want the B&D grunt crew!
Dang sorry to see that. No not yet but I dug in most of them a time or three with sticky fingers so it might happen here.Off topic (weird to say since this thread is about everything and nothing at the same time which makes it the best
Any other Grove-Baggers had this issue? The ziploc thread has separated from the bag itself. Second bag that’s done it….

When can you get here? Tools provided! You pay in weed?
Ooh ... torn during regular use?... Any other Grove-Baggers had this issue? ...
Appears as such. Look, I’m no surgeon, but my deft touch would hardly qualify as manhandling, so this is no bueno. I’m actually going to reach out to Grove Bag with pics and see what they say. I get the sense that they will send off a few bags or a credit as a make good. Other than this snafu and the choruses of ‘I told you so’ from @StareCase & @curious2garden, the bags have been greattorn during regular use?
Nah I'm looking at trying bags. I was angry to see that one come apart so easily. I'm a huge fan of easy and willing to pay the lazy tax Matter of fact I'm getting ready to go through a bunch of mylar bags once I remove this:Appears as such. Happy New Year y’all!
Pics please.....Sounds nice!Really quiet this morning, no traffic on the road at all.
Even Christmas morning was busier, people going to Grandma's.
Making some food for later tonight.
Charcuterie board with cheese, sausage, smoked salmon, bacon-scallops and some nachos with bean dip.
Think I'll make different toppings for scallops, soy/ginger, panko/parmesan, sweet savory/garlic.
