It's ocean blueberry I'm after mate (strawberry hill seeds) it appears to be highly rated for its blueberry terps.

The $30 dollars put a blocker on it, I'm not keen on paying that out principle.

The other day I was tempted by Dutch passion blueberry but the fact no one mentions it anymore doesn't give me much confidence.

If you were looking for blueberry who's would you choose?

Cheers bud

@Star Dog saying that wae you grafting stuff does it being a herm risk not matter so much i mean correct me if im wrong but does the grafted branch not go sterile once you graft one strain onto another ? If so it wouldnt be a issue i guess

Idk if it's sterile or not mate, I've never really looked into it tbh?

I might risk things are known to hermie, I've never had much trouble with them but ive read about crops getting seeded, maybe I've just had dumb luck idk?

Aye the 98 bubba has a bit of the incense thing going for it among other things thats where thats coming from there id bet
I also grew out a dosi by barneys farm that gave off the same incensey type smell I just associated it with being a kush hybrid through lineage but now I'm uncertain after growing a chem cross and an og cross from karma and they're ain't no incense at all on them

Aye Og dont really no you right mate certain phenos of hindu kush got it going tbh incense is more common in sativas ime like nevils haze certain nl5haze phenos got it even some nepalese lines got it going on the tell tale sign of a actual legit hindu kush is the peppery hashy exhale ime most hindu stuff has other tastes going on its layered but thats always there in the background obviously bubba is a kush hybrid but grows more like a proper kush vs chems and ogs too man

Mate the lights only so much of the battle ive seen folk pull 5 or 6 ounce a plant with shitty cfls its also genetics the rest of your environment being good and grower skill im assuming your using leds im more of a hps guy myself hopefully one of the led growers can chime in and give you there experience the general rule is 100 watts a plant but it isnt so simple really
I ended up ordering a migro 3 250w (so that's 2 and a 1/2 plants haha) and i think i'll get a mars hydro 3x3 tent for it, but i've never used led before only HPS, neither have i ever grown auto's so i've got plenty of learning to do. Not sure how many i'm going to fit in the 3x3 but perhaps less is more, not having grown them before, i just don't know how auto's behave but hopefully it's not that much different to photo's only accelerated. I'll be using coco coir but feeding it the right stuff in the right amounts. Fingers crossed!

Cheers.

Two questions.

1. Where are you getting the 12.9p per kilowatt hour electricity rate?

Because that's very low. Like way less than the real kwh rate of 28.6p

You are also not taking into account the day charge? 53.4 pence a day

2. Are you on a smart meter?
I was going by the forecast costs in 2024 by bing ai, i think it must've meant 29 as i asked for it rounded off to the penny, i don't know about the day charge but by the sounds of it i might have to give the plants 12/12 of 90w or 18/6 of 50w and hope i get a result. Bloody unexpected extra costs!

They tried to put me on a smart meter but were told NO in no uncertain terms, not certain how long it'll be before i'm forced on to one. Bloody control freaks!

I was looking at getting a domestic solar panel but it'll only power the light if the suns is in the sky and i couldn't afford a storage battery so i sacked that notion off.

Cheers.

Reason I asked if your on a smart meter is because if not they are relying on a meter reading (unless your on a top up meter?)

I'm on a standard meter.. I give them a meter reading every month and they bill me and I pay it.
They have no way of knowing if that meter reading is right (it is btw)

Point is, is if you can't afford to pay what it costs to run a small grow then rather than waste your time trying to flower with less than you need, just give them a low meter reading that you can afford to pay and when it's all done and you've cropped put a proper reading in and pay it off.

Just so I'm been clear.. DO NOT STEAL ELECTRICITY. You will be paying for it , just when you are more flush when the grow is over.

Aye its only thing that gets most folks caught ive always paid it and knock on wood no had any issues yet hell i know a guy growing same spot for 30 + years stealing leccy from a lamp post outside most of the time abd thats what got him busted

I reckon indoors autos maybe cost you more tbh leccy wise as they prefer 18/6 or 20 and 4 lights on
