It’s starting to show up pretty good here in SWVA . Just a few days of moisture is all it takes. I’ve got some that need a few more weeks, will definitely be some losses.
SWVA here too. I just lost two plants to mold. I had a Indiana Bubblegum and a Bruce Banner that were doing great then I noticed brown areas on the colas. I pulled the areas open and saw the cottony growth everywhere. I even used Regalia Biofungicide at regular intervals but that was a waste of time and money! I was looking forward to giving those two plants a try since I havent tried either one.
I've still got a pure sativa outside, a Lao Highland that is just starting to flower pretty good but time is a concern for that one. I hope it will finish before it gets too cold! I'm thinking of building something to allow me to put a sheet of plastic over it to keep frost off later on.
At least my one indoor plant has a dehuey and AC!!

Update on genetic freak, she has actually started budding up pretty good a couple weeks after a heavy defoliation... sharing the crazy pics of her tricomes.. and also some shots of the think Savage auto I have going that is almost ready, if not for my greenhouse and dehu I would be in big soggy trouble! Also I know there are a few hairs mixed in, we have 2 cats and 2 dogs ...ugh20241003_102406.jpg20241003_102501.jpg20241003_102426.jpg20241003_102704.jpg20241003_102810.jpg20241003_102759.jpg20241003_102748.jpg

Chopped my last two today. Couldn't deal with the budrot losses. Thinking a greenhouse project is on my horizon. All that rain we had did me in. Still will get a bunch from my legal 4. Sure am happy I'm only supplying me and the Mrs. :)

Lookin like a major loss this year for me.I may get 15%. And half of that will be what im gonna chop early and make hash from. If the rain would’ve just held off another week or two …..

greenhouse is the only way to even attempt growing in my part of VA . The mold is just too gd strong nothing defeats it.

Well last fresh flower update on the weirdo... the auto I was running threw a couple nanners so decided to knock everything I got left down... decided to dry and cure it all and then decide to either dry sift or ice water the gene freak, I did have a branch break off and it looks so freaking frosty after drying for a week or so... just wanted to share the last fresh pics of them! The pics do not do it justice! So very leafy but even some.of the fan leaves had tricomes... we shall see! I will post in a couple weeks and let you all know!20241008_115039.jpg20241008_115050.jpg20241008_115123.jpg20241008_122548.jpg

Funny thing wife said we should put one up...so since it's her idea I'll be doing it i think lol.

I'll post my totals after I jar the two I have drying but it's low. Saved my ass buying a dehumidifier for the barn room i dry in I think. Bud rot was bad but mold not so much.

I have law enforcement neighbors and live on a corner so 2 years ago I had to get one to stay legal to hide from.view, it's definitely helped with pm and mold as I keep a dehum in it a couple weeks into flowering through finish, the main complaint is that it gets so freaking hot in there...it's got 4 windows and a huge zipper door and even with all them.open it got up to 110 or so a few different times and yoi could tell the girls were not a fan... they made it but I'm gonna have to figure something else out! Keep us posted!

Glad I'm on acreage...can only see one neighbor if I stand on front porch.

But yeah that's what im worried about. What's the point of a greenhouse if it melts them when it's hot. Maybe I just cover them when it's raining :)

But then when it rains for 3 days straight in September and it's 100% humidity every morning for weeks your in the moldy boat again... kinds lose.lose... I would rather them be a little hot than lose majority to mold and pm I guess
