I hear ya... I wanted to get a jump on tbe season for the first time ( only 2 outdoor seasons under my belt) and started 1 back around new years intending to put outside but she's gotten way way way to big and is now basically flowering after 3 months under 18-6, which shouldn't be happening, check out my other recent post on here... and have 2 others going started much more recently for outside( from.a local company meadow creek cannabis,(Floyd, va) appalachian gold ... first season was lucky and only had to sprout 5 seeds for 4 girls, last year a way different story, got 4 nice and big and took way to long to sex to end up with 3/4 being males, so had to start more well into the season, this year wanted time for them to either show sex indoor or clone for sex... so far 3/4 this year are female... we shall see! Happy growing from the New River Valley!
