It could've been an auto flower that just flowered early from stress. Idk why he's looking for training techniques for it. You can't do much more and it's not very tall anyways so training it won't really do anything other than some better light to the middle of the plant.

It's flowering and won't grow more support structure so no need for training at this point. It'll be a smaller yield just to prepare you.
