Had another negative covid test this morning. Felt great. Went and snagged taco bell breakfast on the way to town to pick up some dirt. Snagged some happy Frog, a handful of half gallon-ish pots, and a 100 pack of root riot plugs. Gonna get the mothers situated today and cull the few that I don't need. Also going to take a few cuts off the mom's to see how the root riot plugs do. I've only ever use rapid rooters, but I am assuming they are the same thing. But I like 100 root riots for $31 way better than 50 rapid rooters for $23.

Hadn't planned on it. Got a few different strains of regulars from family in Mendo County that I'm growing for the first time. I have plenty left to breed in the future if I like it.

I've got about a dozen left then I'll be switching to noname.

I just got some more seeds from NASC. For the freebie I chose 2 regular seeds. I two got F2 Unicorn Poops. What can I expect from an F2? Has anybody here grown Unicorn Poop?

I've used them before, several years ago in soil. Didn't like them. This time around, I got them solely for popping in an Aerogarden knockoff to start seeds out for coco. Started out with 4 seedlings and after a week only one of them actually managed to push roots thru the rooter. They were pitiful little things.

For me it's been the best cloning method.


I sucked at aerocloning. Only grew one root in all my attempts.

Your single root is about the same as the sole root that made it through for me, and only one of them even made that much progress. The other three didn't even seem to try to penetrate down into the rooter, the roots were just coiled up in the little depression under the seed.

I gave up germinating in plugs for the same reason. Clones love em though.

How are you liking growing under LED

I have been doing that for awhile with my LED kluge light for veg. I'm only running the Mars Hydro at 50% at the moment. I need to raise the clothes hangar dowel for more clearance in the closet for flower. I can't find any studs in the ceiling to put hooks in. I can barely find any in the wall.

I wouldn't trust that for anything more than a sidewalk with the driest and fluffiest powder.
