TRUMP CONVICTED

During the impeachments, it was made clear that impeachment is political and indictment is criminal. Sauer throws a fast-talk argument that impeachment and conviction are necessary to criminally charge the ex-president. It's nowhere to be found in the constitution. All made up.

Sauer sounds like he took the drink-bleach thing seriously. I’ve heard a rock being dragged across a driveway sound more musical.

Trump fraud trial: Trump intends to deliver part of closing argument himself, say sources
Former President Trump intends to personally deliver part of the defense's closing argument at the conclusion of his civil fraud trial in New York on Thursday, sources familiar with the former president's strategy tell ABC News.

The defendants in the case -- Trump, his two eldest sons and two former Trump Organization executives -- are represented by three primary attorneys, Christopher Kise, Clifford Robert and Alina Habba. But sources say Trump himself is determined to deliver a portion of the closing statement.

The sources cautioned that plans for the defense's closing argument remain fluid.

as a reminder, I repost my estimation of that man’s situation.

I love that the shadow gets noticeably sharper as it moves

As this litigation shit show proceeds,it's becoming vividly apparent that the writers of the Constitution in their brilliance made assumptions. In the world in which they resided common sense was a given and shame was a deterrent. That a Pres. or former Pres. would overload the legal system as a stall tactic and put forward ludicrous arguments in litigation we are now witnessing has to be beyond their contemplation. It is outrageous that the argument put forth yesterday that a Pres. has complete immunity and could order a US Spec. Ops team to assassinate a political rival.Am I actually hearing this in the USA?With all the serious issues facing our country and the world in general we have a former Pres. presenting 2nd grade arguments in the courts. When the dickhead faced impeachment the R's said it's a criminal court matter/now the dickhead is in criminal court and they say he has to be impeached first,WTF. A pres.(former Pres.) swears to uphold the Constitution not punch holes in it or turn its wording into a bowl of spaghetti. What about duty to protect Americans, not spur them to violence w/BS rhetorical statements.I'm seeing things I'd never thought I'd see and hearing things that I'd never thought I'd hear,we keep going deeper and deeper down this shithole .When is crush depth? All this unnecessary questioning regarding criminal behavior by a Pres.when their is already established precedent. Nixon would have been indicted on criminal charges were it not for Pres. Ford granting a pardon, there is no criminal immunity for a Pres, acting outside the parameters of Presidential duties, and he resigned and technically was not impeached either. Nixon's transgressions don't even register on the richter scale of the former dickhead in chief who is in the pantheon of the vilest, most shameless politicians the country has ever witnessed. A scourge like malady that is only surpassed by his stalwart supporters who's continued tolerance for this shameful, fraudulent con of the century is way beyond baffling.

I was surprised they heard the arguments on immunity and never just kicked it back to Chutkan because of the asphalt case that says he has to wait until he is convicted to appeal. Maybe they want to rule on that too or are just gathering info for a future SCOTUS appeal, I think they will remove the stay at least and Donald goes back to Chutkan while they and the SCOTUS mull over his future appeal. They might want to spread out his immunity and disqualification cases and only deal with immunity after his case in DC. If they just remove the stay, that will be good enough for now, the immunity question can wait.

When is crush depth?
When the jury in DC delivers its verdict or the SCOTUS disqualifies him. If he weasels out of both then maybe the Magats are right, he is divine and capable of miracles! However, he has to also get a pass on Georgia and possible future criminal charges in NY over his tax and banking fraud, then the is the secret documents case... All while his cronies and minions are pleading out, squealing their heads off or going down in flames like Rudy.

Judges crush arguments by Trump lawyer in today's appellate court hearing on presidential immunity

The appellate court judges that heard Donald Trump's argument that he should have absolute immunity against being prosecuted for his democracy-busting crimes on and around January 6, 2021, were not buying what Trump lawyer, John Sauer, was selling.

I attended the appellate court argument on 'Trump's absolute presidential immunity claim. nThis video reviews the arguments of counsel and the many questions from the judges.

I also address Trump's demeanor and behaviors in court, and how he presents as the antithesis of a political candidate.

I think we are arriving at an inflection point. That man’s “legal” team has run out of sensible arguments and is resorting to the limited supply of absurd ones. It’s like a dying star that has consumed its hydrogen, helium, carbon … and is briefly redlining its silicon to iron moments before there’s nothing left and the whole thing collapses under its own tremendous weight.

Will be wild.
