Looking healthy AF
How do I pushed off ? Any questions I'd be happy to answerJust went through the whole thread. Looking great! I have been on the fence about a shed and you pushed me off!
It’s a saying. I’ve been unable to grow inside since last year and I wasn’t sure if I should do a shed for my grow. I’ve been an indoor grower for years and wasn’t sure about the feasibility of growing in a shed, but seeing your success has helped me make the decision to build my own shed. How do I pushed off ? Big thing to think heavily about is insulation and air filtration of air going out. It’s a saying. I’ve been unable to grow inside since last year and I wasn’t sure if I should do a shed for my grow. I was mostly worried about pests. Probably going with as thick of foam panels as possible.Big thing to think heavily about is insulation and air filtration of air going out.
Get a dehumidifier
I recommend spray foam insulation over rock wool.
Auto watering so you aren't working to hard.
Good safe electrical

I’m actually pretty experienced at growing cannabis with over 15 years experience. Coco dtw has been my preferred method for about 8 years. DIY cree cob LED bars still pulling ~ 1.5 g/w. I was just worried about more exposure to pests than my regular indoor gardens. I rarely get pests indoor but have battled thrips and mites in the past. Mostly when I was in soil. I rarely use pesticide and only in veg and agree cleanliness is key! I have a beast of a dehumidifier Quest dual 105 and plan on using A/C of course. Hoping 3 inch thick closed cell foam panels will be enough. Obviously not as awesome as your spray foam, but hopefully they do the trick! What I learned when I got pests twice was
1. Have a solution on hand if it happens
Killer mite
2. Ozone the shit out of the shed after each run and keep it relatively clean like sweep up and hoover when things get messy with leaves and Coco
But honestly hasn't been an issue for me at all.
My flower area is 2msq

I’m not sure if I will do it year-round it gets pretty cold here. If I do it in the winter I’ll have a space heater out there and the dehumidifier should keep it pretty warm as long as it’s nice and insulated. in the summer I plan on using an in window a/c in a cutout or mini split and only running lights at night. That seems to be the culprit indoors too. I like keeping it pretty clean. Probably put my shed on a concrete pad with some space around the shed so I can keep it clean on the outside perimeter too.Nice!! You know what your doing fair play !!
You trying to keep your ladies warm with it cold out side or cold because it's hit outside?
Only time I got pests in the shed was when I dropped the ball. Like not being surgically but not leaving shit all around the place.
Wooden 2”x6” box on a concrete slab. I planned on insulating the floor as well. It gets pretty cold here in the Rocky Mountains as well so I’m probably not going to run it in the winter. If I do I will definitely be running supplemental heat. Thanks so much for your insight! Is the shed a going to have a concrete floor or a wooden shed on a concrete base ?
I can tell you with an inch of spray foam and that foil bubble wrap I've seen -6c and 25c in the shed. I sprayed the walls roof and door. Of the wooden shed. That's with 1000wats of led and a dehumidifier running that's it no heater. Fan controller for heat inside is a must.
In summer the max temp in the room was 30c when it was 26c outside.
If you insulate walls floor and roof I think you will be golden summer and winter try to go bigger then 2x6 you will run out of space quicker then you thinkWooden 2”x6” box on a concrete slab. I just meant the foundation will be a 2 x 6 framing laid on top of a concrete slab. That’s 2 x 6 in inches depthIf you insulate walls floor and roof I think you will be golden summer and winter try to go bigger then 2x6 you will run out of space quicker then you think
