Wendy’s Chewy Choc PB Cookies
3/4 c baking cocoa
1tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 c all purpose flour
3/4 c margerine
1/2 c shortening
2 eggs
1 1/2c sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 2/3c PB chips or 10oz package
1. Heat oven to 350°
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda & salt set aside
2. Beat butter, shortening & sugars until creamy & fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla, beat well. Gradually add flour mixture once well incorporated stir in PB chips.
3. Drop by Tbls on parchment or silicone lined cookie sheet, bake 8-9 minutes until just set. DO NOT OVERBAKE cool slightly on pan (1-2min MAX) move to wire racks.
This is size will yield approx 48 cookies
Sometimes I do larger cookies 2Tbls scoops and bake 11-12 minutes. Approx 24 cookies
Edited- this dough will be “moister” than a lot of cookie doughs and that’s normal, I do not chill dough generally and they don’t overly spread as you can see.
