My plant is starting to flower, Will bone meal added to the soil help the buds at this time. Or should it be added at the beginning of the grow?

BTY it's a fine powder and not what the package says.

I have this kind.

Thanks :D

You would be better off adding either Kelp meal / seaweed or infused in your watering.
  • Kelp / seaweed fertilizer not only provides unique nutrients for your plants but also makes them better able to extract additional nutrition from the surrounding soil on their own. It provides micronutrients that boosts flowering / vigor and growth.
  • Kelp meal contains Cytokine. The Cytokine hormone mobilizes nutrients in plant leaves to improve the chlorophyll content, and increase the growth rate and fullness of plants.

It is a simple , fast acting solution. Plus you can FOLIAR vegging plants.

Yeah, i probably am. But it can still cause lockouts/ burning. Applying these dry nutes for a new grower is going to be tough. Not sure how you'd begin your feeding ratios in such small quantities.
Way more forgiveness using that fertilizer outside on large pots or beds.
Too much of any nutrient can lock out others. I agree adding individual amendments isn't a good idea for a new grower. He'd be better off using a premade mix like Dr. Earths or Gaia. A little bone meal wouldn't hurt but it would be halfway through flower before it even started to do anything. Fish bone meal is better and breaks down a little faster but it still takes awhile.
