They dont breed any strains they sell that i know of. Maybe, just maybe the Gold Leaf. But, i figure they just have a spanish white label breeder do those too. If you want anything near real SLH, and want reliability id find an actual breeder. Like ive said, ive had a few really good ILGM plants but only a few. Some outright sucked. I gave away over 120 grams of GG auto that never grew trichomes. Huge buds with no frost at all after 4 months. North Atlantic sells SLH beans from Greenhouse seed co. That strain won 2008 and 2009 High times Cannabis Cup plus the 2016 Seedsman cup ( currently out though). Blimburn seeds also sells the strain but im not sure of their pedigree. Ethos and others on there have it in stock. Germination has never been a problem from ILGM for me nor any other company. What matters most is what you end up with when its finished. I would trust NA's breeders to get me that quality final product consistently more than anything ILGM sells. Get something good. It sucks to invest $$ and months of your time to get a Meh product that you arent satisfied with.

SLH from ethos is a good smoke. Havent grown it yet but the smoke sure was fine
Well I got Sour Diesel from ILGM. I hope it’s actually that. I wish I knew all this before I bought them. I grew their OG Kush auto and it had no trichome production either. I told them about it. They were gonna replace them, but I left it alone. NASC says their SLH is sold out.

It’s not Sour Diesel, or NASC isn’t sold out of it? I feel like ILGM can’t sell all fake strains that don’t grow right. I mean they are doing something right. They are constantly in the top 3 best seed banks.

If you can verify the breeder and the legitimacy of your genetics then you should be fine.

The upside to ilgm is quick delivery. I got mine within a week. I ordered gdp. It wasn't gdp, at least not the gdp that I've had in the past.
I really think it’s hit or miss when you order seeds online. You never know what you’re actually getting. I had green crack from ILGM and it was one of the best strains I ever smoked. I also bought green crack from MSNL and it was terrible.

I'm not saying you can't get anything good from there (though the gdp I got wasn't), but it wasn't authentic. Genetics are a crap shoot either way, but if I order something that's supposed to have certain genetics....I want those genetics.
When I go to the grocery store for a filet mignon, I don't want to end up with pork chops.

It is so easy to find great genetics these days and I can barely work a computer. Read the breeder section here or ask directly what your looking for.
I feel you 100%. I just can’t imagine they have tons of amazing reviews and been in business this long by scamming people. I emailed them about all of this. Of course they won’t tell me that they are doing shady shit, but they assured me I got the strain I paid for and I can test it if i want. Not sure how you’d even test to see what strain it is. They also said I can return them for a refund, but I already opened them.
I don’t think it’s that easy. Companies are shady. I didn’t have nearly the success from seeds I got from NASC. They were nothing special.

OH, ON THE CONTRARY, I BOUGHT 3 SETS OF 20 SEEDS ONLY 5 WILL GROW RIGHT AFTERWARDS, I wanted to get most of the seeds to grow, but not only a few, you can't save them, I heard the same thing a long time ago, I got a book from a friend of mine to try Rocket Seeds

I fell for that one too when i first ordered beans. I googled ," best seed bank" and ILGM topped most every list. This is more due to marketing strategy and money than quality. And.....noobs to buying beans fall for the 10+10 and germination guarantee very often. In truth, ive had no issues germinating anyone's beans whether bought or bagseed. Its not so much that the strains they are selling are ,"fake". Most bean companies and breeders sell their own reproductions of popular strains. The good ones do extensive phenotype selection and though the result may not be genetically identical to the strain its based on, the plants grown will still be good as the sorry phenos have been bred out. ILGM buys from breeders that dont pheno hunt and so its always a grab bag what you end up with. I still have a few ILGM beans i use as space fillers or testers but after growing Mephisto autos for a couple years now, I see just how bad ILGM phenos are. Sure theyve got X and Y magazines saying they are great and if all you care about is germination I reckon theyre fine. But youre much better off getting beans from an actual breeder instead of just a seed seller. Look for terms like F3, BX1, S1 etc. And look for info on parents used to make your strain. That shows that the breeder has at least done work narrowing down the phenos. BTW i just checked NASC and they do have Ethos SLH and a couple others. Check Multiverse too. I buy breeder direct now and its cheaper and just as fast but use whoever you like. NASC has breeders that have won various cannabis cups. Humboldt seed co, Solfire genetics, Mephisto and Night Owl are all great breeders. Hey good luck!

A shitload of those reviews are fake ones. Check out the reviews of breeders on RIU and youll get more accurate info than on ILGM's site or some magazine that ILGM pays alot of money to to promote their gear.

What breeders beans did you order from NASC? Everything ive gotten from them was great. But, I did my research into the breeders before i ordered. NASC is not a breeder. They sell beans from a large collective of breeders. Its still up to you to select the right one. If i may suggest, dont just look for a specific strain. Good breeders like to coin their own names for their strains. Look for quality breeders and then see which strains they have that have the characteristics you want.
