HELP!

Hi guys.

my plants seem to be on the verge of burning. at least some of them.

Using Biobizz nutes, which should cause any damage. Im on wee4 3.5 of flowering (day 24)

was using the regular Biobizz schedule (1ml/L Biogrow 2ml/L Bloom 1ml/L Topmax and bio heaven)

Soil mix I use peat perlite mix with 15% worm castings plus balast and some gypsum.

After they started yellowing (middle leaves, outer half first), i flushed the medium with a lighter solution (1ml of grow, bloom and bioheaven), now am going to return with 2ml Bloom, and no topmax.

should be pH issue since I'm using organics

I used biobizz for a few years. I found I had to ph the solution high, around 7.2 because it drops dramatically over time. If you are going 6.5, it will turn into 5.1 quickly. That was my experience with the biobizz line

Geeze, im going to pH it um using Armor Si then! Thanks! Last time I checked, the solution Ph was a 7.0 after adding the nutes

Did you add any lime to your soil mix? Peat is very acidic ph 4-5, lime buffers it, gypsum doesn't..
May be part of the problem.. Check your soil ph..

helped when i used it, but not long enough. I stopped using the biobizz when I split from my last growmie. His choice, it never panned out. I've seen some decent grows on here with the biobizz. I'm not that guy. Plus it was just buying more bottles of crap for way too much coin

I have made a decision. Will use quicklime to correct pH.

Mixed the nutes as usual (pH dropped to 5.8!!!) Then i got pulverized lime, mixed it with water, and added that mixture to the nutes to pH it up to 8.

Will water with double the amount to clean the pots a bit and buffer it with the solution, and use the same protocol for the next 3-4 waterings

fingers crossed. The lime was completely reacted to the water, so should cause any problems, the pH 8 isnt that bad IMO, the bennies in the soil will bring it back to the correct value. plus it was such a small amount of lime and i can easily repeat the procedure at least 4 more times, i reckon.

Did you check your soil ph? You should prolly test it after each application.. See where you're at.. Chasing ph can create more problems..

I am going to test the runoff today when i water, but I am pretty sure that it is very acidic. I was using a wetting agent from my country, today I created a solution of it and tested the pH, it came out a 4!!!!! Stopped using it immediately hehe. Will be posting the results in a couple of days, thanks for your input!

Sooo, i pulverized like 1 teaspoon of lime, mixed it with about 300ml of water (shown in picture), but then I proceeded to dilute this further still, mixing a part of it into another 500ml of water, before adding to the mix, so the pH shock wouldnt be too strong and end up frying any of the other nutes... hope it worked!

Thanks for your input brother! pretty sure it's pH issue, getting myself some dolomite lime to add to soil mix as of next grow cycle for sure!!

Good looking grow. Looks a bit hot to me. Personally I don’t ph, I use an aloe leaf in their water as a treat and they tend to get back on track. If they seem underfed I go compost/nutrient tea.

They should bounce back, you caught it early enough. Use a couple drops of dish soap if you need a wetting agent

Okay, just did the aforementioned flush. and check these pictures out, of runoff pH

Buffering Solution pH: 8.3
Runoff: 5.4

I can only imagine what the pH currently is in the soil... like 4 ?!?! WTH

No the yellow leaves won't green back up.. the ones with a slight fade might..
