Detroit can place all the blame on Campbell. Don't get me wrong I love the shift in thinking in to days league going for it on 4th and short between the 30s but I will never support leaving points on the field when they represent a lead change or adding a possession of insurance
Up 3 or 10 yeah go get that 7 up 6-8 or 13-16 take those points. Up 14 early in the 3rd gotta take the opportunity to make it a 3 possession game. Down 3 in the 4th gotta tie it up and not give the opponent the chance to put you down 2 score. I said the exact same thing last week when GB had the chance for a lead change then came up short. Give SF their flowers for flipping the script, scoring on every possession in the second half and keeping lions out the endzone. But the difference in this game is on the HC for insisting on his personal philosophy and refusing to play to the sercumstances at hand

I agree that it's his fault, but there's something to be said for "keep doing what got you to the table." If they went for those fieldgoals and lost, people would be saying he fucked up by playing conservative with everything on the line. I think he will take responsibility for the loss, and grow. There's something to be said for playing the game like you've been there before, which is much easier for teams like the chiefs and the 49ers, because they have. This is uncharted waters for the Lions, and they played like it.

Hell of a season though. The only good thing about their loss is now I don't have to struggle for picking who I want to win, and I'm a chiefs fan. I hope that speaks to how much I love and appreciate what they've been able to accomplish this year, even though they fell short of the ultimate prize.

I'll get shit for this but I'm a Dallas fan unfortunately and Detroit games always wanted to crush them. But seeing those fans and the great job Campbell did I was rooting for them to go to there first Superbowl. Just stunned the second half bad plays and lucky circumstances. So chiefs it is.

You're not wrong. But like I said it all comes down to sercumstances. The difference between 3 and 7 on the first fail attempt would not have changed the demeanor of the game either way it would be 3 possession. The second one a little more so, and you can't be playing for a tie. Campbell deserves a world of credit for the turn around, he got greedy hope to see him stay aggressive next for the most part but learn the value of every point when they are needed in the right moments.

Campbell is heavily influenced by the analytic geeks upstairs,if their computer spews out that it's 52%/48% they go w/that ALL THE TIME!!! They have no regard for the games finer points like flow or momentum, and that's crazy. Campbell should have kicked the 2nd FG surely to get some points on the board and stem the mojo SF had going. No prob. w/ Campbell he's a new coach pretty much and the analytic geeks have the ears of the owners,it's just that they leave no room for emotion in the game cause they can't measure it on their computers, they are kind of FKN up the game,Baseball w/ all these ridiculous stats, and BBall w/ all the 3's chucked up,all elements of post play, and give and goes for easy buckets are out of the game and were fundamental once, endless 3's, the Celtics pass on layups uncontested to bomb 3's,TO MUCH NUMBER'S CRUNCHING imo.

Yes with you throw them fkin tablets in the garbage shouldn't even be in games. All the tech nonsense. And rule changes every year is getting stupid. I'll stick with the change's for hitting the QB in the head and neck. But fix the parts onside kicks can't even do know. Or if your the team with ball and fumble the ball and goes out in the end zone you should get it back at 1 yard line not giving to other team in the 25. Ruining the game and fun.

I had zero doubt Campbell wasn’t going to settle for field goals
Every game this year has been live by the sword
Die by the sword
I’m ok with it
I love the action
Thanks to Dan I got to watch the lions have their best season ever
Man really want to have seen them in super bowl they deserved it never going, got to comfy with lead mentality. That and some unlucky play happens.

Check it
Baltimore's game plan sucked on O,WAY to much passing(had #1 rushing game in NFL+ KC has ex. CB's),Jackson made some terrible throws and seemed reluctant to use his legs(his most lethal weapon),once again another poor playoff performance(a noticeable trend w/him in spite of MVP reg. seasons),and stupid, undisciplined penalty's(another Balt. trend, big, bad Ravens FK. themselves w/aggression). A dude clotheslines Mahommes, crazy.KC played w/the experience and poise, led by #15 who is becoming the next TB12 right before my eyes. And #87 rises up in the big games 11 for 11 w/2 Td's,I'm a NE guy, live here, but I'm not jealous of KC, they play w/the savvy and poise knowing they got this, just like NE used to do. Mahommes is a winner plain and simple, guy's gravitate and he makes them better. He adjusts to what's needed for the W,this yr. his D was top notch,so in this game he played the 2nd, half not to give Balt. anything easy and kept the clock moving,SMART. I don't like seeing another dynasty so quick, but facts are facts, this reminds me of the 2018 Superbowl for NE,they were weaker but in the playoffs they had the savvy and experience to get it done just like KC this yr. Right at the end of the title games Vegas had SF as favorite,TAKE THE POINTS.

Yeah, the only "special teams" is punt cover and return,Kick offs eliminated(no wedge blocks, kicks all to end zone,no returns)due to injury stats. and onside kicks also legislated out of the game.Special team play USED to be a game changer for underdogs and a adv. for good players on those units, all you can do now is punt/FG block or punt ret. TD and that's it,half of that game is gonzo.

Yea mahomes is something special really young and rich and you wouldn't know it he plays like he trying for a contract. You ain't taking this guy out of a game unless he's knocked out or it comes from up top even then you'd need to literally drag him off.

Hard to see them leave points on the field in tournament play ..

That was coaches moment for Detroit immortality and he let it slip through his fingers….Gotta grade it as a choke job and put it in the category of learning how to win .

The NFL ,Taylor Swift collaboration is flat out killing it … You see the numbers those 2 are pulling RN …. O Lord … Vince McMahon himself is proud of that story line .$$$$$$$$$$
