I like the idea of reaching the kitchen shelving without a step ladder. I'll think about it. Although I must admit I'm wondering how my entire brain has apparently turned to snot and snot making. I've done quite a bit of neurosurgery and it is a phenomenon that still escapes me.

When I first started researching, i read the aav needed to be above the flood level of the sink but that was wrong, it just needs to be 4 inches above the trap. That made it totally easy.
