Went ahead a few days ago and flipped the lights. I understand they will stretch to about double the size so hopefully it’s enough room but we will see

Might get a little crowded but you should be fine.Went ahead a few days ago and flipped the lights. I understand they will stretch to about double the size so hopefully it’s enough room but we will see
agreed. Switched from a weak cfl to 600 mh to 600 hps and I think I struggled with knowing how close to keep the light but it’s currently about a foot away. Now that am looking at plants a bit closer … you could have vegged them out better.
Double in size but normally with a minimum of 2 feet, your gonna get crowded but there are methods to deal with it.Went ahead a few days ago and flipped the lights. I understand they will stretch to about double the size so hopefully it’s enough room but we will see
1 foot to a hps is gonna get kinda hot might not be able to blast it at full strength. I forsee supercropping in your futureagreed. Switched from a weak cfl to 600 mh to 600 hps and I think I struggled with knowing how close to keep the light but it’s currently about a foot away.
Spiders are predators she is no threat to your plants, but that fact that she is in there means she has food in there. You will have to identify her prey to know if it is detrimental to your cropAny thoughts on spiders? This one showed up about a week ago and surprisingly gets closer each time I visit the tent. He good to stay or needs to go?
I did notice they seemed to be heat stressed a bit or at least what I thought might be slight heat stress with the serated leaf edges sometimes slightly curling up and a few big fan leaves twisting when it got hot so I will move that light up real soon. Biggest issue is I can move the light up about a foot from here until it’s as high as it goes. Better planning next time for sure. Have never read about supercropping but looking like something like that is necessary here.Double in size but normally with a minimum of 2 feet, your gonna get crowded but there are methods to deal with it.

Supercropping is not cutting. It's cracking your stalk/stems sideways so the lower nods are not blocked by the uppers. Doing so nowish "may" be more beneficial as the plant will put some of its energy into healing the snaps and less into the upward growth of your stretch phaseI did notice they seemed to be heat stressed a bit or at least what I thought might be slight heat stress with the serated leaf edges sometimes slightly curling up and a few big fan leaves twisting when it got hot so I will move that light up real soon. 5 of these are blueberry and I’ve read that they don’t react well to topping and can herm with stress.
