Check out costal seed Co. He has lots of olderCouple crazy questions.
-When I was in kona seeing the most expensive coffee on earth grown thru lava rock and yes it tastes awesome do you folks ever try growing weed thru lava rock? lol kinda crazy thought.
-I smoked some really awesome Maui Wowi back in the 80s. Any real hawaiian Maui seeds you guys highly recommend for indoor growing with traits you think would be worth it? IF so where can I mail order and why you like it please....Sure didn't know anything about sativa or indica back then like now so open question?
Thanks you lucky folks

I give them a light source, run an extension cord to your girls & even just a table lamp with an incandescent bulb for 6 hours after dark is enough to prevent them from flowering & for them to remain in a vegetative state..Growers who have grown in hawaii.
What time of year can u plant your seeds so that they dont start flowering right away? we got 12 hour sun alot of the year, so what do u guys do?
You know when its going to rain so cover them with plastic, at least enough so your buds arent getting soaked bro.. sure its a hassle but if you are upcountry you don't have many options..Okay islanders, I need your help here. If any of you island residents ordered seeds from a SeedBank in either Europe, Canada, or Aussieland, could you please PM me and tell me of your experience. I need to know if I can obtain some good quality seeds. I'm a "Backyard Botonist/Breeder grower" from the 70's. But I lost the seeds I had back then!
I want to create a seed that is resistant to Bud Rot! Because of all the rain here. All the plants that I grow that are dominate Idica, or Indica plants are suffering from some degree of Bud Rot. Look at my short season idicas!!!!
I threw away close to 10 ounces of bud rot, and buds that were ruined from 'mealy bugs'!!! I have got to get that action to come to a close, and the only way I can do that is start breeding strains perfect for our sub-tropical climate! Though I'm only using "Bag seeds" currently to grow, and my expectations aren't to are really low. Not just because I'm using "Bag seeds". The breederof these seeds I'm using was a total fuckup!!!! A breeder must test their strains for many, many growing cycles before they release their products. Second generation of these indica seeds are terrible, no continuity at all with their products....assholes!!!!
Long way to go yet.. looks good..Original OG from katsu bluebird xd to Garra Mexican from hyp3rids. Way more robust than the tired old og. Smells of og dipped in the old school tart candy sticks. Paper tubes filled with flavored sugars. 25 days flower grown and bred in punaView attachment 5328916

You'll probably want to go with a plant with a high sativa content. Anything with Thai, haze or other long flowering sativa. When I lived there I did some more indica leaning plants... I had to keep them dry though or else I would have gotten mold. I popped the seeds and they went straight into flower....ended up being about a foot tall at finish. Was wondering if Hawaiian Sativa will grow big from seed?
What strains in Hawaii will grow from seed with no artificial light?
