Help with my plant

I’m sure everyone on here has their favourites.. I like Great Lakes genetics.. the bloke who runs it is a member on here I believe also. And I like Bodhi’s strains personally and he has heaps of them but opinions are like arseholes, everyone’s got one.
There is a thread on here for people growing Bodhi’s gear.. you could have a look on there and see what it looks like and what people have to say about it if your interested.
Best thing you can do as a grower is grow the strains you want and hunt for the terps smells and features you like your smoking it at the end of the day

Do you mind going more in depth? I am new to the hobby. Why is it wrong what I’m doing if go off the feeding chart they have posted? Why should I not check runoff in soil, and if I have problems how would I know what’s wrong if I’m not checking the runoff? What would you do to fix the problem here if it was your grow?
Basically as you are new to some things - just try to keep things simple from the start. Don't fall for particular nutes that may be overkill in most setups.

If you use say a decent soil - that alone - will feed the plant for weeks ( because it has some elements within mix ).

Treat it like a houseplant or tomato plant - hell you could grow cannabis on tomato plant food. But When you start mixing up a witches brew of multiple nutes then things happen. It does not need a full 20 bottle line of nutes to grow. Think about it …. What other plant needs multiple bottles of this and that to grow ?

What done is done on your pollination experiment and will provide you with what you seek. If your male has already dropped pollen and has pollinated plant then no reason to keep it in there anymore. Just know pollen gets everywhere .

Never accept “ feed charts “ as gospel- they are merely guides - besides the fox farm feed schedule is just ridiculously high in feed numbers. Sometimes its a waste of product so you can buy mire from them. Always start at half or even 1/4 amounts then read plant response to it. Less is more in most situations.

You should be fine in the end just pull back on the feed allow plant to work through excess and not be overwhelmed .

Next time you are looking to make seeds - pick some lower branches only and tag them. Male plant doesn’t need to be in tent - you collect pollen - then pollinate those select branches. Then not only will you have seeds maturing but also will have untouched flowers to consume.

This^^^^.... You don't need all that extra BS to grow good weed. Keep it simple, veg a bit longer, and a good spraying of Isopropyl on EVERYTHING for the next run.
