Have you folks checked into any of the patient/manufacture assistance programs available? Surprising of some of the resources available even if you think your income will/would prevent you from participating.

We're just riding the Medicare (Doughnut Hole Express) Train. We have no income but the savings/investments/etc...etc...etc. we made along the way (vs. spending it all...LOL) preclude us from any assistance. I'm glad it's there for those who need it though. Both of us worked outside the SS system quite a bit as well...so while we do get a check it isn't as large as most folks are seeing. We do our part to drag down the average monthly payout, for sure. It is nice to have some money coming in though...paltry as it may be. Heehee.

What a racket though, huh?

Add in some water Jeff, but yeah get that diastolic lower. How's it looking today?
I refused to take the SSRI's after my son passed. No pills ever fixed anything in my world
They aren't the immediate go to for an endogenous depression but after awhile, with an obvious refractory major depression rears, they maybe worth a trial. I had a long standing seasonal affective depression I was unaware of until I changed career fields. The OR lights had kept me functional, no longer working under those intense lights for most of my day it became a struggle. Also when I started in medicine the best we had were the tricyclics, todays SSRIs et cetera are much better. You may wish to consider revisiting that at some time in your future. I hope that helps and I wish you all the best.

Thanks. Much respect for your take/experience in this realm. Like I say...even with a "Chronic Depression" diagnosis well over a decade ago I chose to just take the pain/emotions as they come. It sucks @ times but it IS all about losing my oldest son. It's been one Hell of a journey. The darkness within us is intense. The drugs your body releases when yer almost shut down are intense. It's crazy shit I wouldn't wish on anyone...but it has also taught me a lot about myself...and about others as well.

So with all of this warm weather...who is thinking about their Summer veggie garden? When can you get yours off the ground? We always jump the gun with the greenhouse and end up space challenged before we can put it all outside. Our season is short so it's all about timing. We've started tomatoes/peppers/cabbage so far. (in the new LED veg tent vs. the dome which is something different) We'll transfer stuff to the dome soon. Just thought they might start better under the lights. Yup.

I have lettuce, basil, tulsi, dill, mint, Serrano and Turkish Long Peppers and spring onions, it's too soon for me to start tomatoes for a couple more weeks yet. Then Chinese broccoli, kale and chard, eggplant, cukes, the list is long! My veggie garden is small but mighty. I expect to see my garlic sprouting sooner than later with the weather we got. Sticking some potatoes in my compost bin because they're delicious.20240227_092441.jpg
