How much CO2 do you use?

I should probably start using organic lemon juice for my PH ing instead of the citric acid water I have been using... damn it

I use it because my water comes out at 9 and has a high sodium content. I know it is technically not NEEDED for organic soil growing but it should hopefully help break down some of the sodium and level that super alkaline water a bit

lemon would break down overnight soo you would have 9 next day
I suppose so especially in a highly active biological environment... maybe I should just stop using the citric acid all together.... I guess I am most worried about getting sodium build up after having a large bed of soil for a long period of time.

And then what? Stop using LEDs because semiconductor manufacturing needs chemicals. Install photovoltaic so you don't rely on fossil fuel to make the electricity you require?

Controlled Environment/Single Source Lighting horticulture is far removed from anything natural. Don't kid yourself.

I would love to be able to grow under the sun and not have to do all this bullshit but thats not viable where I live. Yes I 100% understand that it is not natural I am not kidding myself.... but I can and do try to be as organic as possible, not just in my grows but in my life. I try to buy from local farmers I know, I have a small hobby farm and produce all my own eggs and milk... sometimes we raise 100 chickens in the summer and fill our freezers.. turkeys too.

as far as whats next? I would love to be able to run an entire indoor grow on solar panels and a diesel generator running bio- diesel all living soil beds with decently sourced or my own inputs. I understand that the production of the components in any materials I use are mined in not great ways and pollute a lot of course... but every little bit helps imo.

I have tried it because I have CO2 on hand for homebrewing. Didn't really do shit. The idea of leaving a CO2 tank cranked open inside my house seems a little dangerous, too, as it could displace O2. But my tank is 30 lbs.

That's what a sensor and regulator is for. The regulator's solenoid opens a valve when needed, otherwise it's closed.

CO2 has a profound effect when done correctly.
